In this thread, we mope about our jobs. Retail, food service, and other "meet the public" positions are especially welcome.
I run a photo lab in a retail drugstore. I'm in a college town in the Southeast, and the school is run by Greeks. It's consistently made the top 10 party schools list for the past million years. So my first and foremost woe is that I have to see a bunch of stereotypes get shitfaced in one of the multitudinous local bars over the weekend. Roll upon roll of the same damn picture: three girls hoisting plastic cups full of some noxious venom, their arms thrown giddily about their male companions' shoulders, as the latter look upon the objects of their affection in abject stupor.
My question for these unfortunates: Why is this subject so pressing that it requires immediate development of said rolls? Perhaps the young ladies in question realize that there really is no need at all. Unfortunately, they realize this after they tell me to put them through urgently; often, they don't even bother to pick them up.
