"I met me some Anthony!
Okay, so, I got home from school and took a shower and made finger sandwiches. Aunt Patty was late, so, we hurried to the store and to pick her up and got out the door by 5. We made it there about ten after seven, and I walked into the store, and heard his voice immeadiately. I was like "I'm in the same room as ANTHONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" He was reading a chapter from his book. So, I walked over to the closest I could get, which was super far back because there were over 300 people there and I couldn't see him, but I'm okay with that.
So, I sat there listening. They gave me this number. They were calling people back in groups of 25, which ended up being 100s. So, I listened, and he sang a little of La Vie Boheme too. So, I had a few hours to spare, and no one to talk to. So, I wandered.
I called Nicole and was like, "I'm herererere!" while I bought my extra book to donate to Friends In Deed. So, I chatted it up with her until my phone died, when I was in the cafe next door with my mom and aunt. So, I really think if I had eaten I would have thrown up out of nervousness, so I had half of a small smoothie before going back to Border's. My aunt didn't get her food, and started yelling at the guy first, and I was like, "Shut up. He made a mistake. I do that all the time." My mom apologized and he was like, "Yeah... it's been an off day. Today I served the guy from RENT and didn't even know." Giggle.
So, I wandered some more, before calling Nicole again. I was walking and going, "I haven't seen him yet..." and I saw this DO NOT ENTER tape and looked up and went "ANTHONEEE!" and died. Seriously, suddenly he was just there. It was crazy. He was just sitting there at the front of the line, which I thought was like, behind a door or something. But no, he was right there, and I was staring at him. The first time he giggled, I melted. Seriously, I hung up with Nicole, and just died.
So, they called whoever didn't go, and I was number 345... So, I got in line. The guy behind me saw me shaking and was staring at me, so I was talking to him, and shaking a little. He asked if I was okay, and I was like, whimpering. So he was like, "He's just a person like everyone else." and I was like, "I know, but... he's Anthony!"
So, I got almost to the front (3/4 of the way?) before running back to see my mom. So, I was last in line suddenly, and completely nervous. Little did I know, the people in front of me weren't actually in line yet, so this is kind of how it went down.
Border's Lady: Anyone getting something signed?
Fangirls behind me: *push*
Me: What? Now? What? (In a completely panicky way)
Border's Lady: What are you getting signed?
Me: *babbling*
Lady: WHAT ARE YOU GETTING SIGNED? (She was kind of a b***h.)
Me: Books. Two of them. (And then I looked over at Anthony.)
Anthony: *grinned at me*
Me: *whimper because he was looking at me, but walked over anyways* Um, I brought you a present... fingersandwiches.
Anthony: Aw, thanks. What's your name?
Me: Christine.
Anthony: CH, right?
Me: Yeah... um, thanks. I have two books...
Anthony: Do you want your name in both of them?
Me: Um, no... actually, I'm going to sell one on Ebay and donate the money to Friends In Deed. Someone had the idea, so I was like, hey, why not...
Anthony: (he looked up at me, and i melted again) Thank you.
Me: Um, yeah... (His eyes are so beautiful. I couldn't stop looking at him!)
Anthony: So, you want to get a picture?
Me: Oh, yeah!
So, I leaned in, and I swear I had no control over my body. I leaned in and my arm went around his shoulder, and my fingers were at the collar of his hoodie, and I was staring at my arm like it had a mind of it's own, and I can't believe I did that! It was worth it though. He didn't mind, I'm sure hundreds of people due it. I'm just amazed I was one of them.
So, I told him I was going to wait for a tango picture, and he was like, "Okay!" So, I went back to the fangirls, and waited, and he explained the tango pose, and I swear he was looking at me for about a third of it. (I noticed his eyes going between a few of us, though.)
So, a few people tangoed, and I was the last again. He had to convince me (by telling me to do it about three times) to put my hand on his shoulder, and we took the picture. And then, whimpering, I went, "...can I please have a hug?" and he went "Aww! Hugs are nice!" and he hugged me, and I was like, melting. He was so cuddly. He didn't do one of those cheap hugs, either, that's super short. Though, it didn't last more than like, ten seconds.
So my mom thanked him for being so nice about it, and he thanked her for driving me, and I went "Oh! Anthony! I wrote you a letter." and pointed to the lovely blue gift bag I had given him. He was so sincere about everything. He promised to read it. Who promised they'll read fanmail? He's the sweetest thing ever, I swear.
So, all the fangirls behind me took my lead in hugging him, so I thanked him again before leaving. When I got in the car, I noticed my sweater had Anthony/cologney smell to it, so I hugged it, and ended up falling asleep hugging my signed book and my Anthony!smelling shirt.
Really, Anthony wasn't intimidating at all. I didn't feel like I was going to cry. I kind of felt like I knew him. Not like, best friend, or known forever friend, but friend. He was so sweet, and he had such a good presence. I really couldn't cry, he was so nice about everything.
Anyways, today I went to school, and I was telling everyone. This kid overheard me and was like, "Ew, you danced with a f**!" I swear, he was almost dead. I was about to kill him right then and there. But, I calmed down and went, "Yes, I did." He asked who, and I told him that it was Anthony, and he was from RENT. Which got me a "He was from that movie?" and I went, "Yes. I danced with a FAMOUS f**." Before sticking my nose up in the air like a loser and walking away. It was so fun though. At least I felt like I told him off."
Posted on March Fourth, I believe.
Plus, pictures!

"I look like I'm sad, but really, I was too happy for words. I was just nervous because of my arm around him. I really had no control over it..."
Sorry for the completely terrible quality, too. I don't know why it's like that...
