After leaving Verin's side, Sakura decided that she wanted to look around the festival for other things to do besides eat and play games. What she found astonished even herself. Walking for a few moments she turned and found there was a good sized stage located towards the outskirts of the festival. The only surprising thing was that no one seemed to be there at all, at least not yet. Smiling she thought, they will be. Closing her eyes a moment she concentrated on her knowledge of biokinesis and altering magics. It took several moments before she could fully complete a decent looking outfit. Sakura felt she was not about to get up on stage wearing wooden clogs that were already killing her. Opening her eyes she looked down at herself as if to make sure that she liked the outfit she had chosen. She wore a completely black shirt and shorts set, which was adorned with a large sash that was deep red. Her boots came up to about her knees and as well they were completely black, the heels of them were about four inches tall. Taking the wooden sticks from her hair she let it hang down her back naturally. Smiling, she stepped over towards the stage, at first pondering what she would sing since she had not sung in a few weeks. At the end of the karaoke stage sat a small booklet of songs which she flipped through quickly. Typing a song number into a machine located nearby, she snatched one of the microphones before the music began playing.

Taking her position on stage she only had to wait a moment before the music had started and then she began. Half looking around she sung into the microphone, "I still hear your voice, when you sleep next to me. I still feel your touch in my dreams. Forgive me my weakness, but I don't know why. Without you it's hard to survive." She made sure to hit the high note as best she could before going on. "Cause everytime we touch, I get this feeling. And everytime we kiss I swear I can fly. Can't you feel my heart beat fast, I want this to last. Need you by my side. Cause everytime we touch, I feel this static. And everytime we kiss, I reach for the sky. Can't you hear my heart beat so I can't let you go. Want you in my life." Holding her arms out she summoned small wisp spirits to give a sparkly effect to the area around herself. As the light hit the wisp spirits, they shimmered slightly in a prism of colors. "Your arms are my castle, your heart is my sky. They wipe away tears that I cry. The good and the bad times, we've been through them all. You make me rise when I fall." A rush filled her blood as she began to get more into the song, it was one she had not sung in quite some time and always enjoyed it when she did. "Cause everytime we touch, I get this feeling. As soon as the music ended she finally sent the wisp spirits away. Closing her eyes she allowed the magic to leave on its own, leaving her back in her kimono and clogs once again. Trying to catch her breath, she twisted her hair back up and tied it back once again. Walking over to the machine, she put the microphone back in place before walking off the stage.

Verin had taken one of his choice positions, sitting on a thick branch in one of the cherry blossom trees. The falling blossoms in front of him would create quite a scene to anyone on the other side who happened to be looking at him. They always made a great accent. He listened to Sakura sing, admiring her voice and the way she sang the song with such feeling. He had to clap to congrat Verin knew a few songs, and he could sing, too, as much as he wanted to deny it. But he wasn't the kind of person who would jump at the chance to sing. It'd take a lot of prodding from Orthae to get him to sing. He sorted through some songs in his mind, and one was really prominent. If he had to sing something, he'd sing that. As much as Verin hated to admit it, if he wanted to sing something, now would be the perfect time. There were only two people here, other than himself. And an audience of two is better than an audience of two-hundred. It was still early morning, so no one was really present. As if Orthae was the one speaking in his mind to sing, he said to himself, "All right, you win. Might as well get some enjoyment out of this festival." Verin leapt from the branch and toward the stage. Before landing, he flapped his wings a few times to slow his fall...and for a little dramatic effect.

What a ham.

Verin walked over to the machine that played the music, the only sound on the stage was his boots hitting the wood. Pressing a few buttons on the machine after looking up the right song. He snatched a microphone, twirling it in his hand as walked back to the center of the stage. As the music started, Verin thought one very important thing. I'm so glad Orthae is out of earshot. Well, he got himself this far. Verin stopped twirling the microphone, took a deep breath, and started singing. "Call you up in the middle of the night. Like a firefly without a light. You were there like a blowtorch burning. I was a key that could use a little turning." On the blowtorch line, Verin lit up a fireball in his hand and snuffed it out by clenching his fist when the verse ended. This was surprisingly easy, and Verin was surprised at his own singing. Yeah, he could deny it all he wanted, but he had a knack for singing. "So tired that I couldn't even sleep. So many secrets that I couldn't keep. I promised myself that I wouldn't weep. One more promise that I couldn't keep." Okay, now he was enjoying himself. Hell, he was even tapping his foot to the music. Verin didn't sing often, but he couldn't shun the fact that...it was rather fun. "It seems no one can help me now. I'm in too deep; there's no way out. This time I've really led myself astray." Then came the chorus. "Runaway train, never going back. Wrong way on a one-way track. Seems like I should be getting somewhere. Somehow I'm neither here nor there." He started to really get into the song, and he sung the rest of the song as though he was the one who wrote it. "Can you help me remember how to smile? Make it somehow all seem worthwhile. How on earth did I get so jaded? Life's mystery seems so faded. I can go where no one else can go. I know what no one else knows. Here I am just a-drownin' in the rain. With a ticket for a runaway train. And everything seems cut and dried. Day and night, earth and sky. Somehow I just don't believe it. Runaway train, never going back. Wrong way on a one-way track. Seems like I should be getting somewhere. Somehow I'm neither here nor there. Bought a ticket for a runaway train. Like a madman laughing at the rain. A little out of touch, a little insane. He finished up the song, perhaps a little lightheaded from singing, but nonetheless, he had a good time. Verin tossed the microphone back at the machine, and it landed in the same place where he picked it up. What a showoff. He jumped down from the stage and walked back to the cherry blossom tree. Leaning back against it, he had to catch his breath.

Sakura sat under one of the trees surrounding the stage, flattening out her kimono until it was perfect once again. She listened to Verin sing after she had gotten off the stage and clapped. This was the second time she had seen him sing, and still she was astounded at the way he sang. He had such a nice singing voice and yet somehow he always seemed to be put off by singing, as if he was nervous or something to do it in front of others. Listening to a young lady get up on stage and sing, Sakura looked over at Verin and said, "That was wonderful. I don't think I've ever heard that song before." Taking cherry blossoms off of the ground she began linking them together like a chain.

Legend and Okami were at the Karaoke booth. Legend felt a lot happier and bouncier now that she was better. I'm thankful for my life! NOW LET'S PARTAY!!!!!!!! Legend thought with a smile. She found the catalog of songs and found one that she liked. "Okami! I'm going to sing...Panikku from Kodomo no Omocha! I love that song! Watch me, okay?" Legend grabbed the mike, input the number of the song, and began.

Legend thought she sounded a little screechy at that point, but boldly continued.

After Legend finished, she waited for her score. "6.9? Come on, I deserve an 8 at least!" Legend argued a little louder than her usual arguing voice. She laughed, then turned to Okami. "Alright, your turn! Let's see if you can beat my 6.9!"

Legend was surprised at how good of a singer Okami was. She looked at the screen. "Whoa! An 8.7! Great job, Okami!" Legend said, keeping her nagging jealousy from showing. "Lemme have another go! I was singing in Japanese, so of course it was going to be a bit difficult..." Legend turned back to the catalog.

Ana found a somewhat-big stage and realized this must be for karaoke. Ana really liked to sing, but the ony karaoke she had ever did was in the shower.
"Here's the catalougue. Pick a song." She said to Rin as she sat on the grass.

Ana took the stage. Her heartbeat got a little faster, but they she began to sing
