In the Sanctuary of Darkness (opened only by the DTD) the shadows cast longing gazes upon the light beyond the Realm that is Oblivion. The shadows must be cast by light correct? By the law of physics this is true, but here in Oblivion only darkness lives, breathes and bares other creatures of eternal darkness. This is a village of nothing and everything and only those born here may understand its depth and truth. None may enter without permission of the Gatekeeper. The Gatekeeper is he who left the Realm to seek his destiny elsewhere, but it is such a trek to find him that none enter anyway. Other then him.... no one has ever left the sanity (or perhaps, insanity) of the Realm.
Save for one.
Riku.
This is his 'village', and if you seek him, you need only wait at the Shadowcaster Gate for he will come.
Maybe.

This is the Village Riku... Welcome.

For some, there is no door. Their hearts provide the key to it all, and one such person was Kouryuu Isousai. A vicious vampire, a sadistic stalker, a fuming father as well as a appreciable author, Mr. Isousai had it all. On top of it all, he had darkness. His very soul brimmed to the edge with it. It seemed terrifying to think this man enjoyed raising children. Or rather, the only one he had on his persona at the moment: a Teyco stone. Soon he'd have another in his possession, a child that his late beloved had waited for and never found. Riku, Prince of Eternal Darknes... or perhaps... the Twilight Prince? Whichever he was, Ryuu intended to find him, and to do that, he would open his heart and show eternity the darkness he was made of.
Sitting under a dead tree, in the dark of a moonless night, the vampire was waiting. After a moment, his eyes opened and he found himself in his desired place: Oblivion.
And there... before his very eyes... was the thing Riku had been reduced to. A feather. Gently, with clawed hands, he picked it up, and pocketed it. Then, after a slow ninty degree turn, he came face to face with a gold inlaid door. A malicious grin crossed his lips, and he stepped through... (Continued in Destiny Islands.)
