An entire island laid before him, but he had not yet fully explored the extent of it. Bright waves lapped at his ankles, and beams of light kissed his messy, unbrushed hair. Harry was pleased just to rest on the deck of his newfound home--the treehouse. He had located a lone feather with a key on the desk inside his home, and decided to name it Sora (for any type of artist, even a photographer, has to name everything).
The man was still debating whether his paradise was fiction or reality... but at the moment... he didn't give a damn. This was his place... his place to share with Elieen.

Much like water pools around one's feet, darkness pools around Ryuu, and slowly he steps into the hidden cave. A chuckle escapes his sadistic lips, knowing full well that this could be yet another realm to conquer and hold against his beloved upon her rebirth. Twirling the feather in his hand, he stepped into the sunny daylight that beamed onto the Island and grinned, "Lovely."
With loud thumps and impacts into the ground, the vampire's boots scuffled a path down to the beach, and he surveyed the surroundings eagerly. "So my dearest Zaner... is this the world I can bribe you with? Shall I conquer it for you? And this feather... shall I tease you with it?" He cackled further to himself, staring at both the waves and the feather.

"Elieen?" Her voice carried itself to his ears whenever his eyes were shut. Harry missed her, and loved her, as much as a man could a woman. She never answered his calls, letters, anything--he didn't care. As long as the sun was in the sky, Harry would continue to try. That's why he found this island... his destiny island.
He sat himself up and used his right hand to shield his eyes from the blaring sun. Sora was safely tucked away in his pocket, and Harry scooted himself towards the edge of his "paito" and jumped down into the sand. The man was in a great hurry; he saw a figure on the beach. It has to be her. He started to run towards the other faster and faster shouting, "Elieen!" In a momment of pain and misery, his heart slowed and tears escaped... it wasn't her.

If Kouryuu felt like wasting his time, this man seemed like the perfect person to waste it on. He looked love-struck, and pathetic. And the vampire loved tormenting people like him. As a smile graced his lips, he turned to look at the other, "Sorry... but I'm not who you're looking for."
All around Ryuu was a feeling of despair and lonliness, and of darkness. It was litterally pooling about his very feet. Perhaps it was Riku's power edging into his vampric nature, either way, he looked positively evil and that smile only proved his sadism. Yet... in his eyes, there was a bit of the same love-lust that perhaps the other man too carried.
The feather still twirled in his hand, did nothing but eminate darkness and Ryuu's evilness plus the feather pulled off for an extreme look. "This island... it's mine now." He spoke the words in a voice one shouldn't dare to argue with.

Every paradise has its terrors. Harry's feet stop moving, and the man took a moment to regain his composure. Just beacause it's not her, doesn't mean she's not coming. After hearing the other's request, he could not help but give a pathetic, defeated smirk. "It already is..." In his mind reality was torn asunder... and all that was left was insanity. To him Ryuu was just a figment from his mind... a darkness that had not been bleached away. This had to be an inner-demon of Harry's... they shared the same, pained eyes.

Yes, there was definately insanity bubbling inside this one. It was a comforting thought to the vampric demon, it made him feel almost... ecstatic. What a nice feeling! Especially as Kouryuu's own eyes resembled and observed the other's, it was nice to know other people suffered too. Nice to know he could cause suffering only by existing, and only by being and only by being someone who really -in a sense- wasn't. Blissful was a nice word to describe it. And perhaps demonic fit nicely too. Amongst all of this however, Riku harbored a feeling of doubt that Ryuu utterly ignored, and, stashing the feather into a pocket in his cloak he stepped towards the other man. "Yes, it's mine. If you object though, you poor soul, you'll find yourself somewhere your beloved cannot reach." A smirk accompanied his threat, as if he really didn't value a human life.

Harry gave a defeated smile and let a small, despreate chuckle escape his chapped lips. The man shook his head lightly and sat down on the warm, embracing sand. "I have to learn to be less self-hating." He still believed Ryuu was a personification of his loathing... his hatred... With a closer inspection one could really see the damage that Harry was inflicting on himself. The man appeared to be starving; his chin was now more of a muzzle, for it hadn't been shaved in quiet some time. His brown hair was tangled and greasy, and he clothes were stained and wrinkled. Harry was a man who had given up on hope... on life... yet... here he was... continuing to live a plauged existance.

Kouryuu raised an eyebrow to look at the man, and then with folded arms he squatted down next to him, glaring. There was a sneaky look on his face, but now he had the complete mask of a kind gentlemen (despite his fangs). "Self-hating hm?" The poor insane vampire had no idea that Harry thought he was simply a self-personification and nothing more. Unfortunately for Harry, that could be the worst and last mistake he'd ever make.
"Why don't you get up and look around huh? You had this whole island to yourself good sir, and now you're going to loose it to me. Don't you feel slightly angry?" He grinned maliciously. There was something about mentally toying with people that he found even more delicious then raping them for their blood in large amounts.

Harry stretched out his arms in an almost "chicken-wing" sort-of-fashion, however weird that may sound. Dirt mixed with sand as his light brown hair splayed out on the warm, outsretching sand. "Not really..." He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. It was so relaxing here, why let once hallucination ruin an otherwise perfect situation. Insanity was a reality for Harry, and the abstract made sense when the plausible didn't. Besides, there was an even bigger point to it that Harry brought up in his mind: what does my life even matter?

Kouryuu blinked incredulously. Not really?! This man really was beyond it all and Ryuu was a tad confused. In all his years of living he'd encountered many people, but none ever as far gone as this man. And if they had been, they didn't live long enough for Ryuu to find out. There was something about him that Ryuu found ever so slightly disgusting, in the most comforting of ways.
So he decided on the easiest course, he'd let him live. It was always trouble if you had to start killing people to get your way. Soothtalk 'em first, shed blood later. Ryuu always worked that way. Except of course, when someone wouldn't listen... a little effort had to be put forth. For example, he could've easily killed Zaner's murderer Mirabelle, but he chose not to for the simple reason that if Lola broke down anymore then she already was, the doll called Suki could not be a proper target.
He'd of course steal the doll eventually, just to cause more mental pain while he continued his search for Zaner's soul. Meanwhile, he'd wait here on his new island, with his new son. It was a beautiful thought, to relax for a while. Of course, that meant not having blood for a few weeks... and he disliked human food but if he had to, he would.
So he simply smiled and showed the man his feather, holding it out to him but ready to snatch it back if he reached for it. "Do you see this good sir? This feather is my predecessor and will be obeyed same as me. Okay?" He tried to be as nice as he could without seeming ever-so-slightly agitated.

Harry peeked one eye open. This was partly in a curious manner, and partly in a 'yeah so?' sort of way. "I've got one, too." He started to root around in his pocket (while still lying on the sand) for his little feather. The red and blue feather felt soft to the touch, and it tickled the man's fingertips. Hanging from a short chain wrapped around the feater was the keyblade, and it looked like it was ready for action.
He slightly mused over the question to why he and his demon both had a feather... and furthermore... why did his own have a key? Was it the key to the demon's heart... was it a key to his own?
Such a question pained Harry deep in the bowels of his self-loathing. Elieen had chained away his heart long ago... too long ago. Harry wasn't even sure as to when she left him... how long they've been apart. Things didn't used to be this way. She loved him, she loved him very much. Sadly, as she put it, "feelings just fade away, and that's what love is... a feeling."

Ryuu was really starting to get very upset, and it was all he could do not to lash out and grab the man who was simply lying there carefree. As if HE RYUU was NO threat!!!! That enraged him to the very fiber of his elven and vampric being. He twitched very slightly, pushed some bangs behind his ear, then adjusted his odd jazzy sunglasses. He pocketed Riku and looked at the other, especially it's key. It looked dangerous... not to him and not to Riku... but to his plan. "What's with the key?"

Using his palms that were face-down on the sand, Harry pushed off of them to return to a sitting position (though now his hair and clothes were slightly more sandy). He lazily opened his other eye and looked at the feather that resided in his hand. "Beats me. I just found it with it," the man stated with a shrug.
It was at this point that Harry got a better look at Ryuu. Something about the man didn't scare the photographer at all. In fact, he felt somehow relaxed with him. He supposed that's what happened when two beings from the same mind co-exist.

Kouryuu nodded, that seemed to be a logical answer. In fact, he doubted this man could give an illogical one. This was because logic was in the eye of the beholder, sure most people would say beauty is too... but Ryuu always thought it was logic. Insane people weren't really insane simply because they saw the world in a different light, their logic was different then that from the 'sane' ones.
However, Ryuu's honest opinion was: 'Logic is simply a way to torture mortals until their small minds cannot comprehend anything they were told and merely do anything else to try to deny the fact they are stupid.' Unfortunately, no one ever understood that if they heard him say it (and for good reasoning too, it only proved the vampire was absolutely correct).
Well, now leadership had been established, and all Ryuu felt he needed, was to be called by a leader-ful name. "Since, this is my island..." He looked at Harry, daring him to object, "I suppose you have a right to know the name of the leader. You may call me Mr. Kouryuu Isousai, or any respectful variation there of."
