His work i dont really consider jazz although the musicians he's worked with are definately jazz musicians. It's kinda hard for me to call crooner music jazz. Well i guess some of his work would be jazz and some not?

I have to agree with MHH partially on this one. I'd say most of his music is jazz, but he was still more of a pop musician of the time.

Sinatra still rocks though (our radio station has "Furious Frank at 5" and it's a modern rock station xd )

Who says that pop (=popular music) and jazz can't be the same? Sinatra is no doubt pop meaning he became a big star, but I still consider him to be jazz.. Swingjazz in general is more easylistening than a lot of other jazz, but it's still jazz (just listen to the piano, that's some good s**t xd ).

in general, Sinatra isn´t really classified as a jazz musician, but he has made a lot of jazz songs. i guess one could say that he´s the closest singer to jazz without really being one. but i still love his music! razz

Well to degree it could be, if you consider it Romantic Jazz and the Martini Lounge style of Jazz. Or even if you consider Bebop either way Sinatra is a vocalist and pretty damn good one at that.
