"Where the hell am I!?" Kat screamed as she quickly ran outside of the hospital doors. She had only been standing in there for, what, two seconds? Before she saw some woman waving a scalpel at her with some weird growth on her back. There wasn't no way, no how, she was staying in there with THAT.
Kat hadn't left empty handed though, she had grabbed a pole that she had used to barricade the door with earlier when she first went inside. And she was wielding it like a fiend. She held it up with both hands, ready to smack whatever came at her. This place was nuts.
Thankfully for her, the two creatures from before where gone. All that was left was her, the half missing corpses of the men she came with, and a lot of.. snow? No.. It wasn't snow..
"This is ashes.." She said to herself as she saw it land on her arm, and instead of melt, smudge when she touched it. She frowned and began to walk slowly down the steps and into the middle of the street. Should she call out to see if anybody was around..? No.. That might attract those beasts. She sure as hell didn't want to do that again. "I want to go home.."

Where the hell am I?!
The dank, misty air of Silent Hill seemed to carry sounds well, as this particular one illustrated, echoing its way around twists and turns until it finally found its way into the ear of another human being. Slowly and warily, the toussled looking head of a young girl rose, perking slightly to the sound. Her head tilted slightly, blue eyes narrowing in concentration as the echo bounced away. With a wince, Abigail stood, the ash that had collected on her head and shoulders sliding off in copious amounts. For a while, she had slept, but the sounds of the place had kept her awake and clutching to the pole still grungy with her own blood. She had a feeling that sleep would not come easily to her any more. But this new sound hadn't been another one of those monstrous grumbles and groans. No. It was human. That was for sure.
It gave Abigail the first shred of hope that she had encountered in days. Every muscle in Abigail's body was still sore from that dash away from some creature the day before, but she knew she had to suck it up and move; that alley would only provide protection for so long. Reluctantly, she eventually crept out of the alley way in which she had collapsed in the day before and started walking a quiet, cautious walk, clinging to the building walls as she did do. The voice had come from infront of her, and it wasn't all too far off. Perhaps from that hospital that she had dashed by earlier? Who knew, but it was worth a shot. With that thought in her mind, Abigail held the pipe out in front of her defensively, just in case, and slid onward.

Kat walked up to the mutlated corpses of what was probably going to be her murderers that she had seen when she first awoken. She poked the fat man with her pole, the sharp end for good measure. Oh, he was dead alright. His body was ripped in half, and nearly all his blood had spilt out on the pavement he laid on.. One of his legs and a good chunk of his side where missing and nowhere to be seen, but Kathy just asumed something ate it.
"S'what you diserve." She muttered under her breath, surprisingly receptive of the sight of two gored out bodies in front of her. Maybe it was shock of what had happened. That or she just realised they weren't as bad as the monsters who chased her earlier. Her eyes then began to scan the perimiter.. She saw no monsters, and no people. But she did spot the Van that they drove her in..
Kat walked over to it and slid the side door open, she figured it'd be safe untill she saw someone walk along. No.. That wasn't likely to happen. If it worked, it would be her way out of there. And if not, it'd provide saftey for her untill she had herself in the right mind set. She sat down on the floor inside the van and looked around, eyeing what objects the men had about them.. One in particular cetching her interest.

Light blue eyes narrowed as they sensed movement somewhere in the fog up ahead. It was interesting. Perhaps it was just her mind playing tricks on her, as it had been for the past few days. With a quick shake of her head, Abigail focused herself to scan what was in front of herself. So far, nothing else had happened. All she could see were the blurs of buildings and vehicles.
She sucked in her breath, holding it so as her breathing would not disrupt the quiet of the town. During this silent moment, the young girl closed her eyes, cautiously listening to her surrounds. After a few seconds, she let out a puff of fair in a faint sigh. Quiet. It was clear so far, no sounds she could make out to be those monsters from before. With that assurance in her mind, Abigail proceeded forward.
As she trotted along, she suddenly became aware of a change of texture in the pavement she was walking on. It was wet, a sticking wet. Blood? Gulping, she looked down and noticed that she had started walking right into a large pool of blood. Yep, blood. The plain sight of it made her feel dirty and nauseous. With a shudder, she stepped away from the blood and though her instincts told her not to, started following the trail of blood, leaving dark, sticky footprints behind her.
Though Abigail was expecting to see something dead and bleeding at the origin of the blood pool, she wasn't expecting it to be this terrible. The bodies of two massacred men lay before her. The carnage was unbelievable and sickening. Abigail let out a yelp of shock, but muffled it with a hand. The girl wheeled around, eyes wide as quarters. She stood there for a moment, one hand clasped over her mouth, the other clutching onto the pipe so hard that her knuckles were white, hyperventillating, trying to forget what she had just seen. Impossible. For the moment, she was imobilized and oblivious to the van that stood parked and occupied a few yards infront of her.

Kat's eyes had grown wide as she saw something inside the van, but she jumped and looked back outside when she heard a loud noise. A woman?! No.. Wait.. It could be one of those monsters. Kathy quickly peeked her head out the window, and squinted her eyes. It was hard to see in the fog, but not too hard to see what had made the noise. It was a woman! Not a monster! Not like those women in the hospital, or those giant fat men from before.
"Miss!" She said, not too loud as to attract monsters, but not too quiet to be a whisper. Just loud enough to hope she'd gather her attention. Kathy quickly looked from the car to the woman agian, and got outside. She then quietly closed the door to the car, and walked towards her with her pipe. "Your not one of those monsters, are you?" She asked.. It was a stupid question. Like she'd say yes if she was? Oh well, who would be in a right mind in such a place that they would think of such a technicality? Most certainly not her.

A voice. Instinctively, without even giving it a thought, Abigail flailed, her arms swinging the pole violently infront of her. The rusty steel cut through the mist and ash, but nothing else. Thankfully, Abigail had horrid aim, even in close proximity combat, and especially when she was down right terrified. As soon as she followed through in her swing, Abigail knew she had made a mistake. Her look of shock was now mixed with a sincere furrow of apology. She was so on edge. No. Abigail swung her head no to the girl's question, muddled brown hair being tossed to and fro.
As she gently shook her head, Abigail examined this girl. Christ! She couldn't've been too much older than she was herself and she didn't look all to worse for wear either. But, she didn't seem to carry the same reaction for the grisly sight before them as Abigail did. Perhaps she was used to it? But how could anyone get used to that? Meekly, Abigail's gaze rose to make eye contact with the girl,
"What happened here?"
No 'Hey, who are you?' or 'What is this place?' or 'I'm Abigail.' No, she was being straight to the point. Was she always this impolite? She didn't know for sure.

Kathy didn't mind the forwardness at all, she was quite used to it at the library. Nobody would bother to say hey, or excuse me. It was just a sudden 'Hey, where can I find the pop up karma sutra?' argh... People these days.
"I'm not entirely sure, because I was out cold when it happened." She said honestly, resting her own pointed pipe down at her side. She kept a tight grip on it anyways, and her voice low. "The last thing I remember are these two men knocking me out and throwing me in the back of their van.. I assume they where going to rape me or something.. And by the looks of it one of those monsters that trudge around here got ahold of them. Serves the bastards right." she said, Kathy was a bit spiteful.
She then looked down at the lower half of the thinner mans mangled body. His torso was now gone, ether eaten, or drug off somewhere by the monsters that did this to him. Kathy then glanced back at the van. She paused for a moment, debating on if she wanted to say what she was thinking to this new person.. But she figured she should get the basics first now that the gore ponds where explained. "I'm Kathy.. What's your name? And do you know what's going on in this place?"

Still shiftily avoiding looking at the mess before her, Abigail smiled nervously. This girl seemed ok. Not crazy, not murderous, just normal. There was a slight relief that Abigail felt within her, but it was barely significant. Perhaps she was glad she wasn't alone, or she was glad that she didn't have to suffer here all by herself. Her mouth dropped open slightly as she listened to this girl's story. It was terrible! Horrible men! But still, no one deserved what they had gotten. Abigail's expression was just dripping in sympathy as she kept her gaze on the girl,
"Terrible... I'm sorry. I hope you're ok... I'm not sure how I got here either. Just woke up. I don't remember anything."
With a light smile, she gestured to her head, which was still patched in old blood right where she had been hit. She hadn't found anywhere to clean it yet, and she knew she should soon, infection was always a real worry.
"All I know is what was on my driver's license, and that says my name's Abigail Roberts. So I guess I'm Abigail... Good to see another human being"
Leaning the pipe on the ground, using it almost as a cane, Abigail shook her head at the second part of Kathy's question. Hell if she knew what was going on, this place was weird. Crazy even.
"All I know is that this is Silent Hill and there's weird s**t going on.... Scary"

"It's nice to meet you too, Miss Abigail." Kat said politely, before she leened down and began shuffling threw the corpses pockets. She started with the fat man first, being the most of him was still there. His body was majorally intact, sadly what she was looking for wasn't on his person.
She then went to the lower half of what was once the thinner man, and fished threw his pants pockets. Damn.. It wasn't there ether. "There's a safe in that van over there, but it's locked. It's the van these men brought me here in, so I can only assume the key is where the remainder of this man's body is.." she explained as she pointed to the torso lacking corpse.
"It would probably be best if we stick together. Perhaps if we manage to locate this man's keys, not only will we be able to access their safe, but maybe even start the car up and drive home." Even though Kat had read nearly every book her library stocked, she didn't know how to hot wire a car.

Abigail smiled nicely, but that smile soon faded into a look of disgust as she saw this girl lean down and start rifling through the corpses' pockets. She gagged, turning her entire person around and away from the scene. How Kathy could go anywhere near those bloated and mangled corpses, as well as to go as far as to /touching/ them was beyond her comprehension.
She listened to Kathy speak though, and she nodded grimly, turning around when she assumed the search to be over. Her eyes darted over the bodies, but quickly came back up, focusing on Kathy instead of the gruesome sight.
"Oh..."
Was this girl suggesting that they go and look for the torso of a mutilated dead man?! Seemingly, she was. Abigail felt quesy just thinking about the prospect of it all, but the thought of actually finding the keys and getting out of this wretched place lightened her thoughts. Her grip tightened around the pipe as she nodded quickly,
"Yeah, sounds about right. Now lets go find this... Other half and get the hell out of here"

Kathy glanced around at the mess of gore and body parts spread around them. And noticed that the blood trail from the lower half of the thinner man's corpse lead acrossed the street, and to an apartment building. Sadly for them, in the way of the blood trail was a fense with barbed wiring along the top. Not to mention it was utterly filthy and rusted. "Well, it's best to follow the blood trail left for us. But if we try and scale that fense, one of us will surely get tetnis." she grimanced, before looking to her new friend Abigal.
"What do you propose?"

Abigail sniffed casually, quickly averting her gaze from the carnage and letting it settle on the blood trail that Kathy was so intently looking at. She followed the trail with her gaze, eyes narrowing in contempt. The girl took a few steps forward, pausing before turning her torso to look at Kathy,
"Well, I sure as hell am not scaling a barbed wire fence, key or no key. But, whatever drug that body behind the fence got in somehow and we're going to have to take that same way."
The girl sighed, turning back to the trail and following it, being careful to not step in any of the blood. Soon, she had reached the fence and she extended her pipe to it, pushing at the chain links of the fence with hesitation. It was sturdy all right.
"There has to be a hole, an opening somewhere..."
