Why I hate the Semi Pro circuits and why I believe Semi Pro kids are arrogant talentless pussies.
Okay, I play a lot of Rec ball at PBA and some underground places around Richmond Va, and I have been offered to play on over 13 differant semi pro teams around Richmond after their captain has seen me play (I'm a sick front player)
But here's my theory, if you come onto a speedball field immediatly firing your cheater board 25 bps Angel at a bunker just to show off how fast you can shoot, GTFO, you're a p***y.
I can take some ******** with a shitty Timmy out any day with my A-5, I like pneumatics over electronic in woods ball but speed ball my Ego is much preferrable, but I think most dudes who are in semi pro teams seriously have no skill and are just in it cuz they have enough money to buy a nice marker and a jersey.
Paintball's hardly about skill nowadays, it's all about BPS, which is bullshit.

I know what you meen about the BPS thing, try faceing them with a pump, but that makes it all worth it and then some when you gog one of them.
But I find that some players do actually have skill and some are out there just shooting markers and claiming they got skill. I know some guys around here that really have the skill to make it big time and some that will remain in the lower ranks of play.
Overall I wish that tournament play was stuck back in the late 90s when a Revvi did the job of keeping up with your marker.Don't get me wrong the newer guns are amazing at what they achieve with weight, speed, looks, preformance, etc. But the overall skill of a true player has dropped in my opinion in the past years.
Another thing I don't like about some tourny teams is some of them have hot tempers. Here is an example of what I meen, I was reffing one day and it was some guys from afew teams and walk-on players. The game is windling down to the last accouple player and this guy makes a move to the 50 and dives into a laydown door and I pull him becuase I saw he was hit on the pack and I even directly checked for paint and I saw a fresh break on his pack and he starts arguing with me that there was no way he was hit when he dove, but I have solid proof he was hit on the pack and the guy who shoot him even tells him that he was hit in the pack and still continues to argue with me.

i cant agree with you at all. all the semi pro guys i know are chill. they have their moments of f*****t-ness but they are cool guys. scince the 15bps cap has been embraced just about everywhere i cant complain about that. also if they are really semi pro, telling everyone they cant ball is the biggest load of crap ever. it just is.

That is why you play in games where guns are pre aranged. Everyone uses the same gun that pretty much forces you to push to your limits.

Semi pro teams only have good players because there sponsors only want a winning team. Therefor what you said is bullcrap. They might be dicks but most of them are very good.

I dunno where you live, but the semi pro's around my homefield are really cool dudes. I'm really good friends with a couple of them.
Sure we screw around a lot and everyone has that jerk moment, but they're really cool dudes.

Chrisb319 That is why you play in games where guns are pre aranged. Everyone uses the same gun that pretty much forces you to push to your limits. Not really. Its not the gun that makes the player, haveing the same BPS speed just levels out the playing field BPS wise but it may not force eveyone to their max level of play. Remember its not the marker infront of the person its the person behind the marker.

I wouldn't put an E-grip on a 98 custom any day.
An A-5 yes, but not a 98.
