Ugg.

It was horrible.

My shift last night(saturday) I was $32 short.

I was like "wtf..."

Of course, Franciso was there.

He took me into the office, counted it three times while I was there. He's like "Dont go home yet, Im gonna call Vicki"

Vicki is the Asst. Manager.

They talk for a bit, then he hands me the phone.

Me: "Hello?"

Her: "Andy, look I know you would never steal from yours or anyone else's till. I know the money will turn up in the morning. Dont worry about it. If Fran needs you, can you stay later?"

Me: "Thank you. And sure I'll stay later"

Her: "Thank you, and dont worry you're fine"

She hung up the phone and I did too.

Franciso keeps saying that he'd never steal from anyone's till.

Buut! We know that aint true.

-Earlier before this-

Our Shift Leader at the time, Jamie, had a really swolen face. She had a major tooth ache and couldn't really work.

So it was up to Luara and I to keep the orders comming and the food goin'.

We were doin' an awesome job.

Jamie sat in the office, commin' out here and there to check on her and I to make sure we're okay.

We told her just to stay in the office, and if we need anything one of us will let her know.

So, it came the time for Jamie to go home.

But wait...

Francisco isn't there yet.

She calls his cell.

Dosen't answer.

He arrives 15 mins later without even bothering to call.

So Jamie finally goes home.

And now mind you, We've been busy for like 7 hours straight. So we had no time to really clean the lobby or front line of the store.

Franciso walks around saying "God, what a mess. I cant beleve none of you guys cleaned the ********... we've been busy the whole ******** day and you arrive late and criticize luara and I because we haven't had any ******** time to clean.

Her and I were so pissed off.

Fran sent me on a 15.

I went across the street to Safeway and bought a chocolate bar.

I was originally gonna just buy two, one for me and one for luara.

I wanted to cheer her up.

Instead, I bought seven thinkin' my other co-workers would want one.

Luara was happy at the fact I cared about her.

Everyone else was like "woah... Thank you!"

So, instead of getting off at 8.

I got off at 9:30.

Then this morning(sunday)

Megan, another shift leader, asked me what was up with last night.

I told her.

She was like "Yeah... this list that Franciso put up is ******** bullshit, I looked at yesterdays chart. You guys had no time to clean or anything. Franciso needs to pull the stick outta his a**"

And the sucky thing for her was this:

Fran took out the Ice in the Drive Thru to clean the Ice Holder.

Well, Poor Meg is like 5 months pregnant and its hard for her to do Ice now.

She told me about it.

She barely got a bucket full and wanted to stop right there.

Yeah...

I've dont enough rantting.

xd McN00bs are always like that... I remember when I came back to Maccas (the store manager asked me to come back) after I'd quit the first time. I was gone less than 2 months & some 14 year old kid who was there only a few weeks started trying to boss me around & telling me to do incorrect procedures & saying that I was wrong when I did the right thing.

Of course, I ignored him & continued doing things the RIGHT way.

Then, a little later in the shift, I started bossing around (not being pushy, just like "We need this done, can you please do it?") the manager ((Lil' Kim, for Red_Angelz & Thermio) who had started long after me & therfore knew that I knew more about the procedures etc than she did - often asking me the correct way to do things). The look on his face was priceless!

It got even better when the manager responded with: "Sure thing, Jewels! I'll get right on it... anything else you need me to do while I'm there?"! xd

I had a customer...and a McN00b. At the same time. Yelling and shrieking at me... The customer was a thin old chick, and she had asked me ONCE where it was and I told her.. and the nooblet was trying to get me fired since he got there. He hates me. x_X stressed

Customer: I've asked you FOUR, FOUR ******** times, where is the beer?!
McN00blet: You took my lunch!! I saw you, I'm telling John (manager)!!
Me: ... burning_eyes SHUT UP!
(Silence...)
Me: The beer is opposite the orange juice in aisle 14, and I DIDN'T TAKE YOUR FRICKIN' LUNCH, Angel did! (Angel=slutty evil girl..)
Customer: eek Thank you. (running away)
McN00blet: Sorry. eek (running farther away)

Jeebus...

And the next day, I got a complaint from the manager. I had a busy night up at the registers, I had been working them from 10pm till 4am and I was missing (COUNT IT) $50.
Fifty. Frickin. DOLLARS.
My heart stopped, I swear. I would have been fired (I was the only one up there at the reg) except it was on tape... the nooblet (since fired) was seen on the tape, walking to my register and acting like he was reading the fruits&veggies chart. Then his hand slipped into the till.

BINGO. Saaaaaved! That was so, so horrible.. I was so scared. I was stuttering.. xd But me and the manager have been joking about it since. "Where'd that fifty go to, Seth? Booze and women?" heehee.

I feel like I'm being punished for reporting it, but if I didn't I thought he'd keep doing it.

@Erin I hate people who goof off at work and nobody does anything about them. I'm jealous that they can taxt-msg or flirt with bfs and get paid.
