Remember that Rolex Sportscar Race in Mexico City? Two guys getting suspended for brawling?
Well guess what? It just happened in Champ Car, in San Jose!
Paul Tracy went off, tried to loop it around and get back on track. As he got back onto the track, he took Alex Tagliani's front left wheel and his own right rear suspension out! Alex confronted Paul in the pits, and after a ton of swearing, and what looked like the end of it.... Alex turns around, gives Paul hell again and the punches flew! STREET FIGHT!

Champ Car is about to make a statement. Paul Tracy has been interviewed, explained the situation with the fight, and has suffered a small cut on his forehead, but is otherwise okay. Tagliani did fight with his helmet on, while PT had his off.

that's what happens in racing i think if they punish them too much off the track for fighting it will provoke more on the track

Well if they bring their bad tempers onto the race track then maybe they deserve to be suspended. Theres no excuse for endangering the lives of other drivers on the race track.

Hey, it's better for them to do this off the track rather then on the track, where someone could get really hurt.

Yeah, Tracy was very close to hitting Tag's legs... you could see the internal bodywork of the front nose and the pedals of Tag's car when he pit in.
