I don't think so. I haven't heard any drummers as fast or as intense as Jon. What does everyone else think?

He's the most amazing drummer I've ever seen sad
Although, it does only say "live dates that begin imminently" maybe he's got something going on? Maybe he'll be back later?... I hope he is... by the time they come to Australia again domokun

I'm pretty sure Jon is the reason I first got into The Mars Volta. Mostly because my friend who was a drummer got me into the band, and said he truely respected the drum work in De-loused in the Comatorium.

Well, the new guy was their original choice. And he's played in a few math rock bands, apparently. Even though I'm not a fan of the genre, math rock drummers are pretty sick.

Yeah, if Cedric and Omar pick someone out we can be assured that they don't suck. Unless Ced and Omar are purposely making them suck.
