Trotting cheerfully along the worn dirt path that lead from the grasslands skirting the watering hole towards Pride Rock, a small greyish serval let out a high-pitched "mew!"
So small he was often mistaken for a cub of some sort, Seke was indeed fully grown, but his behavior often made those he met doubt this. Around his neck was a red leather band on which hung a small gold bell that tinkled merrily as he moved. Leaping up onto a rock to survery the area, the serval smiled, tail flicking in a pleased manner. What a nice place!

Ting! Ting! Ting! Ger's ears twitched everytime the noise ringed. The little cub was sleeping peacefully under the shade of an acacia tree. His teal eyes opened up when the noise continued to ring, what made that aweful noise? Ger hopped to his feet and followed teh tingling noise. Wonder what it was.
Ger purred as he slowly followed the ring.

Seke spotted the little golden blur moving towards him from his rock, and, squinting, he lept down. The bell jingled sweetly as he trotted over towards Ger, curiosity written all over his face. He didn't think this little guy was a serval, but he was much closer to Seke's own size than any of the other lions he'd met.
"Helloo!" Seke purred, sitting down before Ger and looking him up and down. Pretty yelloow lion! Not that he was as pretty as Seke, but the golden color was very nice indeed!
"Whatcha up to?" the serval inquired curiously, batting at the lion cub with a slender forepaw.

Ger sat down before the what looked to be a feline. "Hey..." he mumbled. He let out a high pitched yawn, revealing his rows of teeth. Ger laid down, tail flicking behind him, looked up at the creature. "You just... *yawn* woke me up..." he said licking his lips and laying his head down.
"Now it's my turn, what is your name?" he asked as if it was a game of questions. Though it wasn't very mature, it did get questions answered and out of the way.

Ear flattening, Seke looked at Ger's sharp teeth with some trepidation. He seemed mostly harmless... but those teeth! Eeep.
"Oh, sorry!" Seke chirped, bell jingling again as he tiled his head the other direction.
"I'm SEKE!" the serval said almost proudly, beaming. "Who're you?"

Ger rolled onto his side, eyes looking up at Seke. " Name's Ger. I'm from Pride Rock." he answered. His teal eyes stared at the golden bell dangling around his neck. It was so pretty and shiny. Ger even caught himself thinking, 'Pretty, pretty, shiny shiny.' it was strange.
"My turn again, why are you wearing that around your neck?" he asked bluntly. A leather strap and a golden bell, it looked difficult to put on by one's self, so perhaps he had help?

Seke looked up at the large rock jutting out into the sky above them, and back to Ger, impressed.
He smiled smugly as Ger stared at the bell. Most people asked about it, and he always found himself incredibly proud of it when they did.
"It's a BELL," he supplied helpfully, batting it with a paw to make it ring again. "It rings when I walk," he added, puffing out his chest.

It rings as he walks? Ger scowled and batted at it. It was what woke him up! All day he spent looking for a female feline for his Dad and he needed some rest but this Seke had to come and let his Bell wake him up. "That is what made that noise!" Ger shouted, on all fours. Ger lunged at Seke with the intention of getting rid of the bell, it was plan out annoying....or he was just grumpy that he was rudely awakened.

Seke looked startled as Ger turned angry, for some reason. The bell wasn't that loud, just a soft, musical jingling! At least he thought so, and he was the one who had to be around it all the time...
The serval let out a loud yowl as he was lept at and tried to run. He ended up simply falling over. Scrambling to his tiny paws, he yelped and streaked away from the lion cub, bell jingling madly with each frantic pawstep.
Finally, behind a rock, he peered out. Would the lion follow him?

Ger laid there on the rock purring softly to himself. He could still see the feline, it was hiding behind a rock. Ger's teal eyes narrowed and he got up with a huff. The lion cub grinned as he disappeared into the tall grass. He will get to that bell, one way or the other. He couldn't kill the creature, but frightening it until paralasis was good enough.

Seke let out a strangled "eep!" as he saw Ger coming towards him, and he huddled down behind the rock, silencing the bell by pressing a paw against it, smothering the sound in his chest fur.
The serval gulped. Why didn't Ger just go back to sleep and let him escape? He hadn't MEANT to wake the lion cub up, surely, and the bell wasn't THAT loud... He flattened his ears rather pathetically.

Ger peered through the tall grass at the frightened feline. He had his paw on his chest, probably scared to death. Ger grinned and slowly came near. When he was in pouncing distance he lunged out and tackles the cat. "Gotcha!" he shouted and he gripped his paws around Seke.
Ger tapped the bell and grinned, "Tag." he whispered and disappeared once more into the tall grass.

Seke covered his eyes with his paws and huddles ina ball on the ground as Ger got ready to pounce. His life was flashing before his-- what?
"T-tag..?" the serval gulped, taking his paws off his eyes and staring, open-mouthed, at Ger. Then as soon as he'd pounced, he was gone again! Seke stood up and sniffed, looking affronted. The lion was PLAYING with him? Gah, cubs.
He stalked out from behind the rock and began to clean a paw daintily, bell jingling softly. Well, if Ger wasn't out to kill him, there wasn't too much harm in playing a bit...
He lept up onto the rock and looked out over the grass for that flash of yellow that was the lion cub. Aha! Spotting it, he lowered his body to the rock, tail flicking, bell silent. Leaping bodily from the rock, the serval launched himself bodily in Ger's direction.

Ger sat still and watched as the feline lept into the air. Ger was too far for Seke to reach. Ger looked up at Seke and smoothly took a step aside.
"Come on, Seke, I'm only a cub and you can't get me~" he teased as he disappeared again into the tall grass, his time keeping his body low so none of his golden fur could show.

Seke landed rather painfully on his face a foot away from Ger.
"Ow." he groaned, dragging himself to his paws and glowering at the lion cub. What an annoying little brat! Possibly even more irritating than the serval himself, in fact.
Taking a seat and cleaning his paws, Seke shook his head. "No way, kid, you're on your own. I'm done." he mumbled sulkily, reaching up to wash his ears. He wasn't about to make a fool of himself again...
