my dad is a drunk
so all my mom does is yell at him
she's sick of it
he spends more time with his drinking buddies then he does woth his own family
which im ok with but it pisses my mom off
all they do is scream at each other
i just try to drown it all out with my music
they already almost broke up once
me, my sister and brother had to pack all of our stuff and
my mom drove us back to milwaukee and we had to stay with our aunt
all of us just cried ourselves to sleep
then randomly a week later my mom took us back home
but that was like a year ago
but im just sick of it
i had to post itand get it out of my system...

i know there's not much to say, but i just hope every is ok, my dad and mom get along fine when both are sober... or drunk together, but if my dad actually listened it would be better...

My father is not a drunk. but he acts even worse than one with his violent outbursts and abusiveness (sp?). My mom is sick of it, but she wont leave him.
And I have two uncles who are drunks, one of which lives in my grandmother's basement. so I pretty much know how you feel. I'm sorry I can't help. I'm in the same boat.

I'm sorry.
My parents broke up.
And instead of him being a drunk all the time.
he cared for his friends more then his daughters.
And thought cooking would sastify us.
He didn't spend that much money on us at all,.
Or hang out with us.
Or basicly anything.
I just hope it gets better for you.

well, like i said it doesnt bug me much, he spends time with us when he can, but my mom is getting really irritated with him, i just hope she doesnt leave him... i love my daddy

ive been through something similar.he doesnt do much round the house to help out so theyd argue about that & whatever else.we actually got to our aunts house overnight & went to the divorce guy but they loved eachother & although i dont spend time with him much i love my daddy too so they stopped it before it went any further.theres still occasional arguing but some is my fault...... sweatdrop but were doing better now.well idunno what to say.some get fixed & some just arent meant to be.i hope yours gets fixed.

but no matter what we say it wont change the fact that they arent getting along. my dad wont stop drinking, and he kind of needs it after a long day of work, but my mom cant help but want him to be here and care alot about us, but he does... he just wants to hang out with his friends. he liek a teenager stuck in a fourty year old's body, really... but i love him to dead, and i love my mumma heart

He's an alcoholic and most of the times they just yell at each other all night. Wow, that sounds SOO much like my Dad! We all wish that he'd stop getting drunk, but his friends take him to Vegas and they all get wasted...

my dad just goes to the same bar every day, but they havent fought in a while now, i hope it'll stay this way... and everyone stay's happy...

No one in our family is happy. We aren't really even a family anymore. My mom blames the fact that my brothers all molested someone on my dad, Dad doesn't seem to care anymore (he's depressed too), and nobody really truly talks to anyone anymore.

I never told my dad and the times i did he couldn't remeber.
