Rahu turned and snarled at Astia. " you best watch yourself Astia with how you adress me. also with what you choose to talk to me about." growling he then turned back to the foal. " Malaif was it? interesting name, though your most interesting also with your looks." still eyeing Malaif as he kept an eye on Astia. he really did not want to deal with her as she seemed different this day.

Astia's lip curled back to reveal a row of flat teeth. Not much, considering she wasn't a predator. After a good long glare at Rahu, she turned to the foal, which had moved away. Hrn. Maybe bu ugly, but atleast it's got some sense, she mused. "Malarif, then? Astia." Her tone was short, and dawl, but she had calmed down a bit, amused and disgusted by the foal's looks. A bit of motherly feeling had come over her. Just something all mares had, she reminded herself. She would never want that spawn as a child.

Mal, being a foal had a very short attention span and tolerance for things that didn't immediately concern him. After noting Astia's name and the appearance of the other adult, he rather spontaneously ran off into the forest. There was much to see and learn, pity it was very unlikely he'd ever ever learn manners.
