* Mother--Tori Amos ()in reference to Ruby's discovery of the memories embedded in her blood, along with a fascination for her first love.))
* Man in the Long Black Coat--Joan Osborne((when Ruby left Mississippi with someone not so very good.))
* Where did you sleep last night? --Nirvana((Ruby's way of dealing with questions about an abusive past relationship in New Orleans .))
* Post Modern Sleaze--SneakerPimps ((Ruby around her time in Flippyville, and fresh from her leading the life of a wanderer.))
*. Ruby Tuesday--Rolling Stones ((Ruby in later flippyville/Haven))
*Black Velvet--Alannah Miles ((>.> I liked it, it talked about mississippi and the south, and it reminded me a bit of Ruby...and some other things too.))

* Wasteland --10 years ((overlaps with the above, but more on the lines of Ruby's struggle and attempts to fight against her own self-destruction and the possible death of her son.))
*First and Last Waltz--Nickel Creek ((a unique instrumental that nicely ties in the recent events with it's simple dream-like sound and fleeting qualities.))

And here come's E's, although she is quite the difficult one when it comes to making decisions. So I might end up editing this, a lot. These aren't arranged in any order, or according to events. Well, some are events, and some are just characteristic of E.

1. Devil in Disguise--Elvis Presley (Totally in mind of the good librarian persona. )
2. Poisoning pigeons in the park--Tom Lehrer (I couldn't resist, I mean really. Some of you oldbies might now what this relates too rofl )
3. Catharsis of Sufferance-- Darling Violetta (instrumental, not necesarily a fan of the song, or of the angel series, but I couldn't resist the title)
4. Dream a little Dream--Mama Cass (In some of her best madness moments E liked to listen to this song, not for the lyrics as much as the whole mood, it's one of those hard to explain things. Once again, Oldbies might recall a moment in a bar a long long time back.)
5. Hurt--Johnny Cash--(The song I've always pegged for her theme song, if anything)
6. Daddy--Jewel (one of the better songs I've come across that sums up E's family relations.)
7. Baby did a bad bad thing--- Chris Isaak (yeah, she did.....a few of them, and among them breaking a few hearts, bad bad bad E.)
8. Creep--Radiohead (Suf and her inner turmoil and periodical self-loathing, tsk tsk tsk.)
9. You have this strange effect on me--Hooverphonic (have to have at least one shout out for Xeen).
