Not again, thats immediately what I thought when I saw this since the Jewish Center near where I live had a gunman shoot it up a few years ago...
luckilly this one was in Seattle, but still, its bad

I know, its terrible news. America can go 5 years without another terrorist attack on its soil but a hate crime like this can still occur crying Atleast no children were killed, but that poor woman sad

Donovinhs Knight I know, its terrible news. America can go 5 years without another terrorist attack on its soil but a hate crime like this can still occur crying Atleast no children were killed, but that poor woman sad I know...What's worse is that he attacked those people who have nothing to do with Israel, and the way it governs itself! Those people were punished for something out of their control.

I started a thread about this in the ED:Religion forum last night, and all these assholes came in and started saying things like "well that's what they get for writing 'with love' on rockets" as if all Jews were the same, the world over.

roothands I started a thread about this in the ED:Religion forum last night, and all these assholes came in and started saying things like "well that's what they get for writing 'with love' on rockets" as if all Jews were the same, the world over.
I AM SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW I avoid that place at all costs. People who go in there just make me angry as all hell! They go in there, and they're only freakin' argument is that they don't have a religion, so therefore, everyone else is wrong. I think they should just do away with that entire THING!

I AM SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW I avoid that place at all costs. People who go in there just make me angry as all hell! They go in there, and they're only freakin' argument is that they don't have a religion, so therefore, everyone else is wrong. I think they should just do away with that entire THING! I hate theological debate with people like that. I really do. "I don't believe in g-d, and you're a fool for believing gblah blah blah" Anyway, I was actually watching the news ( I usually read it) when the incident happened (or at least when it reached East coast news) and I was so upset by it. Does he really think shooting up a Jewish center was going to change anything? It's like all the terrorist attacks in Israel, and around the world, all they accomplish is ruining peoples lives and fostering prejudice. I'm sorry, but I doubt the Israelis are going to pack up and leave any time soon because you blow y ourself up on a bus. Anyway, I should stop ranting. (I just got into an argument with someone about Hezbollah and I"m still fuming over the things he said to me >.< )

I think it's best to lay low for now and wait until people realize Lebanon isn't the only place being attacked with civilians killed....

Eh, innocent civilians are being killed in Lebanon but it's being blown way out of proportion to where people forget why Israel is attacking Lebanon in the first place.
And as usual Hezbollah are using the typical terrorist tactics of hiding in civilian areas so that innocent people are killed and the media blows it up into a huge thing, same with the UN and Red Cross vehicles that are there.
But that's beside the point that it's ridiculous to hold all Jews responsible for such acts. It's the government of Israel and not Jews in general that they should blame. This guy who shot up the Jewish Federation building was insane, but that doesn't discount his anti-Semitism. Just like being drunk (coughMelGibsoncough), being crazy just allows your true prejudices to come out, because you are uninhibited. I'm manic-depressive and I that very well. (Also, I wouldn't shoot people just because I'm pissed off at them/don't like.)

I agree. I also believe the Israeli population is merely to blame; most of us voted for the left wing parties, expecting them to pull out of the West Bank and make peace with the Palestinians. I in no way saw this one coming, and would not choose this option if I could.
