So I finally did it... within the last couple of nights I have watched both The Godfather Part One and Part Two and I have to say... these most definitely are not the best movies ever made.
Now perhaps my level of tirediness affected my judgement... perhaps not... but I just cannot grasp how these movies are so iconic.
Overall I thought they lacked something to draw the viewer in... now barring that I was trying really hard to see where the fascination was and while I couldn't find it, I can say they are good movies. For my particular tastes they just lacked a kind of excitement. But yeah overall good, not spectacular... just wondering if anybody has anything to share... like thoughts... or monkeys...
