Ana stood outside of her house, bouncing from foot to foot, waiting to catch sight of the little girl that Mommy said was coming over. She was new to the corporation, and Mommy said that it was important that she met some new people, and was shown around. So, Ana waited for the girl and her mother to show up.
Mommy had been careful to warn her about the little girl, whom she said was called Medusa. Because her DNA was that of a jellyfish she had the ability to sting others, and jellyfish stings weren't fun, according to Mommy.
That aside, Ana was still looking forward to meeting a new potenital friend.

"Ay, bee, see, dee, eee, eff, gee..." Medusa practiced while she held her hand within Kanth's own gloved one, both of them walking towards the house. Medusa, for once, showed excitement on her face; last time she hadn't expected to meet someone before, but now it was just so... exciting!
It wasn't long before the chameleon girl came into sight, and Medusa slowed her pace, suddenly seeming very calm. In a subdued voice, she asked, "Yoo tink she liks meh?"
"You'll have to wait and see," Kanth smiled, waving as they walked closer.

A huge grin on her face, Ana returned the wave. " Hey-lo ! " She shouted, at the top of her lungs. She skipped towards Kanth and Medusa, meeting them at the half-way point.
" I'm Anataela, " the chameleon girl announced proudly. " You're Medusa right ? Mommy says that you're new. " She seemed very proud to have introduced herself without parental assistance.
Afore mentioned parent assistance was now standing on the front porch, waving happily at the newly arrived pair.

"Yah!" Medusa exclaimed, glancing up at Kanth with a hopeful expression, before the shifter nodded.
"You can go and play while I talk with Anataela's mother." Beaming at the suggestion, Medusa skipped forward and stopped before the chameleon girl, clapping her hands together, but her expression remained oddly calm.
"Hiiiye." Medusa glanced to Kanth, who walked to the woman at the door. "Yew kno mye naem?"

Noddly sagely, Ana took in the younger girl. She certianly was interesting to look at, even if she wasn't pink. " Uh-huh. My name's Anataela, but you can call me Ana. Everybody does. "
She glanced to Kanth, and grinned. " Mommy says you can go in and talk with her if you want. That's our house right there. " She pointed at the house right behind them. " She's on the front porch. "
Fai leanded her elbows on the porch railing, watching the two little girls and the approaching woman. " Hey there, you must by Kanth. I'm Faidrae. "
She extended her hand in a friendly manner. " You wanna come in, or would you rather watch the girls ? Ana's proven to be very good at finding her way around out here. Knows the place backwards and forwards. "

"Thank you." Kanth nodded to the girl and made her way over to the other, giving a wave. "Yeah, Kanth is usually what I go by nowadays." She shook the other woman's hand heartily. "I don't mind keeping an eye on them, actually. In truth, I'm a bit worried about Medusa; I still don't know what to feed her." She blushed a small bit, suddenly feeling silly.
"Oooh, Ana!" Medusa exclaimed, clasping her hands together and giving the chameleon her very best smile. She had been practicing!!

Anataela quickly decided that she really liked Medusa. I mean, she was see-through ! Who couldn't like that ! " Mommy says that U should show you around. I just have to check if your Ommy is going to come with us or not. "
She nodded, " I totally understand that one. When I first got Ana, I was really worried that she'd want to eat bugs or some such. Thankfully, she far prefers fruit, and well, what ever I'm eating. And icecream. Can't forget that. "
Looking towards the girls, she watched Ana bound towards her. Knowing what the little girl was going to ask already. " I think were going to come with you two. I'm sure Kanth will appreciate the tour as much as Medusa. "

"I'd be honored," Kanth stated, giving a smile to the girl.
Following after the chameleon, Medusa almost skipped happily. Here she was, with another new friend! It was very exciting! However, even as Medusa felt bubbly, she kept a cool demeanor. It was just her style. "Whar we gow?"

Faidrae laughed quietly, seeing how excited her daughter was. " So Ana, where are we going to go on this tour ? "
Bouncing on her toes, Ana was more than happy to gush out the details. " We're going to see the sheep, and the main building, and the lake ! It's going to be the bestest tour ever ! "

"You seem like you always have fun with her," Kanth murmured softly, smiling at Faidrae.

" Okay ! It's this way ! " Ana pointed towards a not entirley distant pen. It was clearly full of sheep, and was one of Ana's favourite places in all of D-Corp. She still didn't exactly understand what the sheep were used for, and Faidrae had held off on telling her.
She nodded. " It's pretty hard not to. She's just so out going ! Even as a toddler she was so interested in meeting new people, and trying new things. You and Medusa seem to have bonded pretty well yourselves. "

"Whazat?" Medusa asked, eyes wide with intrigue as she reached out to attempt to touch one. They looked so soft!

" They're called sheep. Aren't they great ? " She was obviously very pleased that Medusa was as entralled with the sheep as she was. " And look how many of them there are ! I can't even count that high ! "
" Ah, thank you. I'm pretty much sure I lucked out with her, personality wise. But then again, that could all change once she becomes a teen. Hormones and all that. " She grimaced for a moment. " At least that's a ways off yet. "

"It happens." Kanth sighed, shaking her head. "I remember how horrible I was when that happened. Yeesh. Don't really miss it."
"Wun, tew, tree..." Medusa blinked, and let out a sigh. "Yah!" She smiled and glanced around, now wanting to see something else. "Wut neckst?"

" The main building ! " She pointed to the massive building, located next to the equally massive parking lot. She started to skip happily towards it.
"Erk ... Yeah. And now we get to experience it from the parental perspective. " She laughed, slightly warily. " Oh, and off they go again. "
