The ScrapYard is a Mech Arena. Registered members are issued a hangar, and fights are arranged. A Position/Score chart will determine ranking, and the pilot who comes out on top each month will be awarded 1000 gold.

The Complex

Standing around 75 miles outside of the realm of Gaia, is a large complex. Consisting of three main buildings[Described below], the complex is a testimony to modern engineering. The first building you will come across, is a 6 storey tall white-wash, standard box-type structure. This is the registration building. Proceeding through this, a 100metre walk takes you to the Hangars. This is semi-circular structure, also 6 storeys high. The hangars are painted black and red throughout, a stark contrast to the white registration building. The next building is the arena, a further 150metres away. It is a large oval structure, grey in colour.

Registration: The Reg. Building is big enough to fit most Mechs. The floor is one big weighing station, and multiple sensors record the Mech's height, density, weaponry, armour, and other systems.

The Hangars: Room for 20 Mechs, up to 6 storeys high. The semi-circular structure is built so that the curve faces away from the arena. Each hangar does face the arena, however.

The Arena: A 9 storey tall building, circular, and with no roof, the Arena is perfect for fights. Seating for around 20,000 people, force-fields ensure stray weapons don't cause injuries/deaths. The whole structure is reinforced titanium-steel, coated in duracrete. The fighting area itself, is an oval, 125metres long, by 75metres wide.

The Drones

Stationed all over the complex, these drones are here to ensure OOA[Out Of Arena] fights are quickly broken up.

C-56 'Hornet'

Hornets are small, fast aerial drones, they are around half the size of a large car. Armed with a single gatling gun, and lightly armoured, they rely on speed to attack targets, darting about in the air, firing off quick bursts from the gatling gun. There are around 40 Hornets.

Helpers

Nova Vehicle Division LN-34a 'Warthog'

Warthogs are the size of large children and are a non-offensive, task performing version of the LN-34. They serve no one function, but carry out many menial tasks around the complex.

a- Anyone fighting must list details of what they are using, even if it's just revealed as you post. Please don't just use your weapons/systems, and expect others to know what they are.
b- While Gundams will be allowed, they will be stripped of most of their 'powers'. This means your Gundam will be just as normal as the rest of the Mechs here

Mech Statistics:
- 4.5 storeys tall
- 2 1/2 tonnes
- Top Speed - 128kph [200KpH in flight]
Armour: Each body part is composed of liquid metal composite armour. Due to the unique molecular structure, this can withstand higher pressures, higher temperatures, and take quite a beating.
Weapons: All weapons are interchangable. Depending on weapon size, there is limited carrying space, and not all can be carried at once. Equipment Rufus owns is clearly stated. The rest, he doesn't own yet.

Advantages:Daedalus is very manouverable on the ground, and features a turntable midriff. That is, in true Mechwarrior style, the whole top half can pivot around the legs. Due to it's slim design, it is slightly more difficult for opponents to acheive any kind of lock-on (though not impossible). Damaged parts can easily be ejected, to reduce weight and maintain funcionality. The power to use ratio is extremely good. Daedalus can easily maintain a steady plasma usage for around three hours. Through the use of it's wings, and creating a tiny gravitic flux, Daedalus can fly. It is highly adept at this, and highly agile in the air. Due to the gravitic flux, the Daedalus produces no extra heat signature while air-borne, which other mechs do.
Disadvantages: The electromagnetic joints, while backed up by latches, are nevertheless weak points for the right weapon.
The gravitic unit is the exception to power to use ratio. When activated, the unit is drained slightly faster, only capable of sustained flight for around ten minutes. Once obtained, the singularity shield is also a major power drain.
