Ahhhhh... not quite sure if anyone's heard this yet, but the Naruto movie is due to be in theatres about August 21 (source: www.narutofan.com). There is a link to the trailer located there, under the heading 'Another Naruto Movie Trailer'. You need real player to play it.

From the trailer, it looks absolutely gorgeous, and takes place somewhere... cold.. (haha, i'm observant), possibly in the Water Country. And there are number of new characters, and, of course, Team 07 with our number one surprising ninja, Naruto!

I'm not quite sure what the movie will be about, but, no matter, i'm positive it will be amazing!! (It looks like some of Kakashi's past might be revealed to us, but, i don't know Japanese, so that's not cemented until the movie's release.)

Also, the theme is entitleed 'Home Sweet Home' by the talented Yuki!! (source: again, www.narutofan.com). It's played on the trailer, and is very pretty.

Finally, it seems that attendees will get a special necklace that Naruto is seen wearing in an AD picture...

PLOT REVEALED:

The movie is entitled "Daikatugeki!! Yukihime Ninpoujyou Dattebayo", translating as "It's the Yukihime's (Snow Princess) ninja arts book!!".

The story takes place in the Snow Country, revolving around the tragety that took place there, when the leader, Sousetsu,was killed by his younger brother, Dotou. His daughter, Koyuki, fled afterwards, taking the crystal that was given to her.

Ten years later, Dotou is leader and trying to strengthen his army so he can challenge the 5 great Shinobi countries.

At the same time, in Konoha, sometime after the Chuunin Exam, Team 7 has been assigned mission. They are to escort popular actress Fujimi Yuki to the Snow Country to film a movie. However, when they get there with her, they are attacked...

There is also a second story plot revolving around a competition in Konoha involving many of the Leaf Genins.

After the current plot arc with Tsunade, it is my understanding that the anime will begin to deviate from the manga by having it's first 'filler' episode story arc. I do not know how long this will last, nor do I know what it will be about.

ANd I believe I must thank Kyou's "The Naruto Guild" for this news. *trying to remember where she got it*

naruto manga volume 4 has been released by viz now... just saw it in barnes and noble today.

Tomorrow, the Naruto Movie, "Daikatugeki!! Yukihime Ninpoujyou Dattebayo" will be out in Japan theatres, so, if you're lucky enough to be there right now/tomorrow... i envy you.. XDDD

And, also, yesterday, the Naruto Movie OST was released!!!
