Because I spend way too much time in the LOTR subforum, I must make some spelling corrections. I think RP's should be somewhat intelligent, right?

Her graceful steps making not a sound, she made her way through the woods. Light came pouring through the tree branches, making patterns on the forest floor. Something on her hand catches the light, something small and glinting. The leaves of the trees are beginning to turn golden, and a cool Autumn breeze blows. Hearing a sound, Galadriel turns around to see what it was.

((d'oh! forgot about alot of characters! thanks for editing the list katane. And sorry bout the misspellings Melian.And this is not going to go exactaly as the book. For example, Gandalf is about to give Frodo the ring, because he agreed to transport it to frodo instead of the envelope.)) Ill start my char:
Gandalf was riding through the shire with a cart full of things. These things were things to help him, not exactaly "forget", but keep his mind off bilbo.
Gandalf:Ah...such a wonderful day...Oh, I can see Bag End. Ill be there in less then a horsetrot(minutes...and that refers to the speed of horses).

Although she cannot see the source of the sound, she is aware that something is happening. She senses change in the winds, the faint stirring of something ancient.......something evil.
She turns and starts walking in a different direction, somewhat agitated, and unsettled. Coming into the heart of the Golden Wood, Galadriel approaches a fountain. Her gaze falls upon the surface of the water, and she lets her mind relax.
At first, all she sees are familiar scenes, things that are in the past. Then, she beholds the sight of her old friend Gandalf, driving a cart somewhere. Suddenly, the scene switches to somehwere indoors, and she sees a hobbit, sitting in a chair by a fireplace. At first she notes nothing of interest, but then realizes the hobbit is looing at some object in his hand, almost fondly. She peers closer, and sees a spark, or a glint of something golden.
Then suddenly, she beholds a great fiery eye, full of malice, and unawakened power. With great effort, she tears her gaze away, and gasps for breath, as though she had just fought something.
The ring. The time has come.

Sorry, I forgot to put her on the list. Just warning you though,she is not at all important in the books. She is mentioned a grand total of about 3 times. You can play her if you want, but just make sure you know your charactor.

Gandalf:Indeed it has. I have some gifts for you...that Bilbo left you...
Frodo:Oh...he has been on my mind lately...I shouldnt really think about him...
Gandalf:Bilbo also wanted me to give you this*hands Frodo an envelope*I have not held that envelope since I saw you last, for inside of it, contains mysterious and dangerous powers.
Frodo:What? What did Bilbo give me?*opens envelope and pulls out a gorgeous ring, shining bright and gold, without a scratch on the entire ring.*

Frodo looks at the ring Gandalf had just handed him.
Oh yes, I recognize this! It's Bilbo's old ring. He really loved this thing, you know.
Examining the ring in his hand, he admires the way the light is cuaght by it, the elegant simpicity of the heavy gold. He thought to himself, I've never noticed it before, but there something special about his ring.... he turns it over with his fingers, keeping his gaze almost trancelike on the heavy gold band.

Galadriel walks back to her home in Loth Lorien. Her pace is calm and steady, as though nothing had happened. But in her heart was a great fear that she hid from the world. She had seen it. The Eye.
Perhaps this was a fortelling of times soon to come. But even as she thought this, she realized it must not be true. The wind brought whispers of an old power awoken. An evil that would cover the land in shadow.
Approaching her house in the great trees, she spoke briefly with some other elves.
Be prepared. We are expecting visitors.
