i like just about every kind of music except rap. i guess my favorite is country . now please don't shun me for liking country i already get it all the time.

Guess I'm about the same. Like most everything but rap. Country is blah but some is ok. Some is good.
Though I also dislike a lot of pop, alternative, punk.... And dislike numetal is well.
My main likes though would be metal. Namely progressive and power metal smile

I listen to a bit of everything... Well, except country unless I have to. Mostly rock though (106.5, 100.3, 92.3 for those in the area). I have XM Radio in my car so I dont listen to local stations as much as I use to though.
Others I listen to include jrock, jpop, techno, rave, industrual, classical, neo classical, and so much more...

Meh. I don't care much for DMB at all. I don't see why everyone at my HS was so overly obsessed with them.
But for my stations I usually do 92.3, 98.7, 100.3, 106.5, 107.5, and 95.7 when I'm in Charlotte. Though I often don't find much stuff I like anymore and have just been goign with tapes and cds.

Eirwyn I keep my radio on 98.7 SIMON! Me too. I like rock, alternative, pop, punk, heavy metal, grunge. I don't like rap or country, although some country crossovers are good.

I like just about everything except Rap, too. Rap... bothers me. All they ever talk about is sex, drugs, and money. Okay, now all rap, some is good, but most is just stupid.
I especially love anime soundtracks. The music in most animes is just simply amazing.
My three favorite CDs are...
The soundtrack to the movie 'Serenity'.
The soundtrack to 'Trippelettes of Belleville'.
And the soundtrack to FLCL, which is called 'Addict'. I desperatley want the second one.
I usually keep my radio on 100.7 The River. Or I stick it on 88.1, which is NC State's station. They play even more genres than The River.
Some of my favorite groups/artists are...
Skyclad, Flogging Molly, AFI, Counting Crows, Alanis Morisette, Matchbox 20, some Greenday, Loreena McKennit... Um, a lot more but those are my major favorites.
