ghosts and humans working together? zombies? highschool highjinks? if any of this interests you then you're in the right universe, because we have it all. just vote on a country for a setting. it won't change your character at all, just how i play the NPCs and such.
required info: (for the character) Name age school (to be determined i'm guessing) favorite class undead type (vampire, zombie, mummy) ghost's name ghost's element (fire, earth, air, water, electricity, ice, wood, metal)
main character sheet (make one each for both human chara and ghost)
attributes: 3/4/5 points (all are guaranteed on point each. these are additional points to be split between types of attributes) physical; strength, stamina, dexterity social; charisma, manipulation, appearance mental; intellegence, perception, wits
abilities: 9/7/5 points talents; awareness, alertness, athletics, brawl, dodge, empathy, intimidation, leadership, streetwise, subterfuge skills; animal ken, crafts, do, ettiquete, meditation, melee, performance, ranged, sports, stealth knowledges; academics, computer, gossip, investigation, linguistics, medicine, metaphysics, occult, rituals, science
other information: human only- 9 points to be split among these choises type resonance (specify; light, dark, life, death) channeler (specify prefferd weapon shape) library contacts resourses mentor allies ghost only- 7 points magic allies earthly age aura both- humans (ghosts)/9 (11) points willpower; costs 1 (2) points per level energy; costs 1 (1) points per level
oh yeah. maybe i should explaine the differnt types of undead a bit. vampire- gets lowerd costs for dark or death resonances. weakness to light. gains energy for every wound created. gains wilpower through stealth, secrets, and intimidation. branded marks; fangs, pointed ears, glowing eyes, and claws. mummy- gets lowerd costs for light or death resonances. weakness to fire. gains energy through meditation. gains willpower through victory, leadership, and teaching. branded marks; dry flaky skin to be wound with bandages, long white hair, and black sunken eyes. zombie- gets lowerd costs for dark or life resonances. weakness to ranged attacks. gains energy through absorbing life (eating under ritual). gains willpower through helping otheres, discovery, and art. branded marks; grey skin, rotted teeth, callouses or moles and random bruising.
all characters should have at least one level in awareness or they wouldn't be able to sense anything.
the resonances: dark- more attuned to night, and secrets. lower costs for stealth and subterfuge checks at night. light- more attuned to daytime and strength. lower costs for leadership and meditation checks at day. death- more attuned to death energy. lower costs for perception and awareness checks towards dead things. life- more attuned to life energy. lower costs for perception and awareness checks for living things.
other characters you may have if you don't want to be an undead friend, is a ghost hunter or a mundane. ghost hunters will also need awareness levels, but mundanes might not.
any questions?

d10. based roughly on Mage: the Ascension with details changed to fit the setting. the system itself is the same. the character sheet is different.

old. i'm not used to the new rules yet, and if you're that familiar with it to tell the difference then it should have been obvious based on the attributes i selected. as well, mage: the ascension is old, mage: the awakening is new....

I just skimmed and noticed things that were familiar to both systems; sorry.

*shrug* i mix 'n match then. actually, i was kinda hoping for real questions on those things i added that aren't in the books, as opposed to specifics in gameplay. gameplay can be learned later. in character creation those details need to be learned now. i outlined the different undead and resonances.... but i never explained waht a channeler was or the relationship between the ghost and the human. or what an undead friend was in the first place. thes are questions people should be asking, not "what system are you using?"
