Guild Updates, Announcements and Suggestions:
This thread contains our updates and announcements. You may also post your suggestions and mods can post updates and announcements of their own here if they wish.
Announcement: Current mod duties
As Captain, I am not as active as I would like to be hence I thought it would help if I posted a list of mod duties. Those duties are:
Send PMs to inactive members whose usernames will be sent to me and banned if they remain inactive within the next 30 days unless they have a good excuse
Make new banners (If you can make moving GIFs, I would be forever grateful)
Invite new members
Keep discipline in the forum
Create necessary Stickies and Announcements
Ban the inactive and rule-breakers with the Captain’s approval
PM the Captain about any guild problems or member violations
Approve members who have correctly filled out the form (Those whose forms are not properly filled out will be left unapproved until I can look over them.)
Also, even if you aren’t a mod, I’d love to see any banners you could make. It would be greatly appreciated. Moving GIFs are in great demand.

Reminder
I'd like to remind everybody that locked threads are bad. Please be mindful that when creating a thread that it is relevant to Gundam Wing and obeys the rules. I haven't seen much of this, but I have seen enough to want to make this post. If your thread gets locked, it's not a good sign. Please follow the rules.

I think we need a subforum or something to dump locked threads in, that way it's easier for us to keep track of the rule breakers and everbody to see what mistakes shouldn't be made.

We now have a Manga and Assorted Stuff Archive. I used the forum I accidentally bought... The first ten pages of Battlefield of Pacifists has been uploaded with more coming soon... Enjoy!

Relena Yuy donated 20k into the guild account so I purchased 6 new subforums. Mind you, do NOT donate to the guild account if you wish to help funding. Send all trades to the guild mule. Its username is Preventer Organization.
Charity- So you can do your begging here. I know I'm a beggar! Just be literate, ok? wink
Promotions- If you have your own guild, advertise here!
Crew Only- Where the Crew and I discuss secret plans. Basically, if we're considering banning someone, we'll discuss it here and away from prying eyes... stare
Contests- We'll hold all our ongoing contests here. When the contest is over, it will be moved to Memorable Threads.
Fan Art- duh! You talk about Fan Art!
Gundam Video Games- Talk about Gundam Video Games...
Mecha/Gundam/Mobile Suit Based Discussion- Talk about mechs... 3nodding
Also, Guild Entry Fee has been brought down to 1 gold. 3nodding

Harrassment will not be tolerated.
It's come to light that there are members in this thread getting bashed for liking certain pairings. This is not to happen. If you do not like a pairing, that is fine. However, there is no reason to bash somebody for supporting that pairing. If you must, hate the pairing not the supporter. This is a guild for intelligent fans, and it shall remain that way. Fans that cannot deal with another fan that does not like the same pairing or any other aspect of the series that they like in a civil and mature manner are not welcome here. We all had to have a certain level of intelligence to join the guild, and we need to maintain that level of intelligence.
I also ask that veterans from the original thread be treated with the same amount respect, if not more, as the rest of the guild. They deserve credit for keeping the thread alive long enough for this guild to get off the ground.
We are all intelligent fans in here. Please keep it that way.

I fully put my support on Oreasa's aforementioned statement.
As Captain, I think it's about time I got a bit stricter. I've been a tad lax with you. Don't get me wrong, I adore all my members but should you force my hand or should the mods see that you have been engaging in harassment, I will ask them to, if not personally, give you the boot.
