Young Super modle

Name:Rosetta Mercury
DOB:6-6-1984
Age:24
Home Town:Seattle WA.
Hight:5'6"
Weight:125 pounds
Occupation:Super Modle.
Looks:Long blond hair, almost to her waist. Emerald green eyes.
Slender toned body. beauty mark on the left side of her mouth. Small-ish nose, almond shaped eyes, long nails painted purple. she has a tattoo of the chinese sign for Angel with wings on either side on her lower back, and a lily on her hip.
User ImageBy Starcrosser

Personality: She’s not like 'normal' Super models. She was always very nice and she ate food. she love animals and has two huskies in her property in Alaska.

Likes: Getting her photo taken, dogs, cats, babies, flying, reading and writing childrens books.

Hates: SPIDERS, needles, darkness, enclosed spaces, dieing and losing her dogs or her friends.

Habits: When her lips get dry she likes to bites off the skin. She bites her nails when she doesn't have acrylic nails on. She's kind of OCD in that when she's in someplace messy and its not her stuff she feels the great need to clean it. She had started a series of children's books with the lead character being a husky. It took place in Alaska and followed the dog through puppy hood into becoming a great sled dog champion.

History: She was born into the life of cow farmers in southern Washington. When she was 7 she went to Seattle with her mother when her parents divorced. She lived there till she was 17 and was spotted by a model agency. After talking to her mother about it she agreed and signed. she has been a model since she was 18. She got her first Husky when she was 20 from her boss. She loved her dog so much that she got another one to keep her first company. Her first is named Morris and the second is named Nelly. She is so afraid of spiders that when she's around them she hears voices in her head telling her that they want to use her to take over the world. She talks to herself and goes totally crazy. She cries and screams and thinks she feels them on her body and scratch's at her self trying to get them off.

How She Got here: She was out on her yacht when it was pulled into a storm. Her yacht sank but she managed to get a hold of a large piece of floating wood from her yacht. One of the Dr.'s boats found her and brought her to the island.

Why a Husky?: After bringing her in and talking to her she keeps asking to go home to see her dogs. So they are obviously something she likes.

Background and Family

Family:
Parents: Jon and Christy Mercury
Siblings: Jen, and Tim. (Jen is 5 years younger and Tim is 2 years older.)
Nick names:Rosie, Etta, Blondie, Kitten.

Background: After moving with her mother to Seattle when she was 7 she was sent to a privet school. When she was 14 she made her mom let her go to a normal public school. Rosetta was very popular with the girls, having many close friends. She had her first boyfriend at 15, and he was followed by 3 more that same year. She was nice about it the whole time, she only dumped one if the other seemed like she could be with him longer. Each boy lasted a month longer then the last.

When she was signed with her modeling agency they tried to get her to diet and starve her self but she isn’t like that and she proved to them that she could eat, work out, and make it big. She was all over the magazines, flew all over the world doing shoots and interviews. When she was 19 she was asked to pose in playboy but she didn't do stuff like that so she turned it down. It never let it get out about her spider fear or her OCD. Before she went on her trip she had started seeing a shrink about her fear of spiders.

She donated a lot of her money to charity and none profit organizations. She took every other year off after she turned 19 to spend 6 months with a different organization helping the people and seeing what it was like. Though her manager never let her go alone, she took her best friend and assistant, Jill (who sadly died when her yacht sank) and her body guard. She would work at vet clinics, food kitchens, hospitals and such. She never finished high school in a school but she took classes online. She’s very smart and knows a lot about science. She was always good in science and loves to look at things that have been dissected.

Rosetta's family has a history for Schizophrenia and she started showing signs of it when she turned 16. She has been seeing a shrink about it and talking it out, as well as working on her spider phobia. On her bad days she would break away from her watches and go to the nearest club and drink away her craziness. She didn't like to and there was always a part of her telling her to stop but she couldn't.

Siberian Husky

From Wikipedia
A working dog breed that originated in eastern Siberia, the Siberian Husky is a wolf-like, medium-sized dog, 35 to 60 pounds (16 to 27 kg) in weight, 20 to 23.5 inches (51 to 60 cm) in height, originally bred by the Chukchi tribes for use as a village dog, herding the reindeer, pulling sledges, and keeping the children warm.

AppearanceUser Image
Siberians have a dense double-layer coat that comes in a variety of colors and patterns, usually with white feet and legs, facial markings, and tail tip. The most common colors are black and white, grey and white, copper-red and white, and pure white, though many individuals have brown, reddish, or biscuit shadings and some are piebald spotted. Striking masks, spectacles, and other facial markings occur in wide variety. They have a wolf-like appearance, albeit smaller and with less shaggy fur.

Eyes
The dogs eyes are brown, hazel, or blue. Light blue eye colour is characteristic but not completely dominant. The breed may have one eye brown or hazel and the other blue, or may have blue and another colour mixed in the iris of one or both eyes; this latter trait, heterochromia, is sometimes called "bi-eyed, or parti-eyed" by Siberian enthusiasts. This is one of the few breeds for which different-colored eyes are allowed in the show ring. The Siberian Husky is one of the few dog breeds where blue eyes are common. Most dogs have brown eyes.

Ears & tail
Its ears are triangular, well-furred, medium-sized, and erect; its fox-like brush tail is carried in a sickle curve over the back.

User Image
Coat
The Siberian Husky's coat consists of two layers, a dense, cashmere-like undercoat and a longer coarser topcoat consisting of straight guard hairs. Siberians usually shed their undercoat once or twice a year, producing prodigious quantities of fur; the process is commonly referred to as blowing their coat. Dogs that live primarily indoors often shed year round, so the shedding is less profuse—but constant. Therefore, an owner might have a Siberian that sheds lightly all year, or a Siberian that blows its complete coat twice a year. A strong steel comb helps in removing the dense handfuls of hair that come loose while the dog is blowing its coat. Otherwise, grooming is minimal; bathing is normally unnecessary as the coat sheds dirt. Also, it is not uncommon for a dog of this breed to groom itself carefully in much the same way one might expect of cats. Well and healthy Siberians have little odor. Their ears are amazingly soft and they have a very good hearing.

Temperament
A male Siberian HuskyPopular as family pets and as show dogs due to their striking appearance and gentle temperament, Siberians have certain drawbacks. Huskies can be extremely affectionate, curious, and welcoming to people, which means they rarely hurt humans, making them poor guard dogs. Properly socialized Siberians are often quite gentle with children, although no dog, including Siberians, should be left unsupervised with small children. Normally quite tractable, affectionate, and docile with people, they nonetheless have a strong hunting drive and are known to kill (and even eat) cats, rabbits, chickens, squirrels, and other small animals. They have even been known to savage sheep on occasion, which is one of the many reasons why they are believed to be closely related to the wolf. If the Husky is raised with a small animal such as a cat, it is less likely to hurt that animal. However, their prey drive can eventually develop.
User Image
Siberian Huskies should be kept in secure fenced enclosures at least six feet in height as they will not always come to call and will often disappear on long hunting trips. Thus, they cannot be allowed to run loose. They should be kept leashed. Siberians are also accomplished escape artists, so enclosures should be checked frequently for any potential escape routes. The dogs are good diggers, able to tunnel under fences with shallow foundations. Huskies are trainable to a certain degree, but require patience. They are independent in nature and not given to blind obedience to every command.

Health
Siberians are normally rather healthy dogs, living typically from eleven to fifteen years of age. Health issues in the breed are eye troubles (cataracts, glaucoma, and corneal dystrophy among others), allergies, and cancer in older animals. Hip dysplasia occurs but is not a major concern in the breed. This breed needs a high-quality diet with high levels of protein and fat, particularly when used for dogsledding. That said, Siberian Huskies are fuel-efficient dogs, consuming less food than other dogs of similar size and activity level. The diet must be adjusted to their level of work and exercise; obesity can be a problem for underexercised, overfed pets.

HistoryUser Image
The Siberian Husky is widely believed to have originated exclusively with the Coastal Chukchi tribes of the east-Siberian peninsula. There is evidence, however, that Siberian dogs were also imported from the Koryak and Kamchadal tribes. Recent DNA analysis confirms that this is one of the oldest breeds of dog.[1] Dogs from the Anadyr River and surrounding regions were imported into Alaska from 1908 (and for the next two decades) during the gold rush for use as sleddogs, especially in the All-Alaska Sweepstakes (AAS), a 408 mile (657 km) distance dogsled race from Nome to Candle and back. Smaller, faster and more enduring than the 100 to 120 pound (45 to 54 kg) freighting dogs then in general use, they immediately dominated the Nome Sweepstakes.

Seven-week-old SiberianLeonhard Seppala, a Norwegian fisherman turned gold miner, became involved with Siberian dogs when he was asked by his employer to train a group of females and pups for the 1914 AAS. After a poor start his first year, Seppala dominated the races thereafter. In 1925 he was a key figure in the 1925 serum run to Nome which delivered diphtheria serum from Nenana by dogsled after the city was stricken by an epidemic. The Iditarod trail race commemorates this famous delivery. The following year two groups of Seppala’s dogs toured the USA, starting a mania for sleddogs and dogsled racing, particularly in the New England states.

In 1930 the last Siberians were exported as the Soviet government closed the borders of Siberia to external trade. The same year saw recognition of the Siberian Husky by the American Kennel Club. Nine years later the breed was first registered in Canada. Today’s Siberian Huskies registered in North America are largely the descendants of the 1930 Siberia imports and of Leonhard Seppala’s dogs.

Dogsled racingUser Image
Siberians are still used occasionally as sleddogs in dogsled racing but have been widely replaced by the more popular Alaskan Husky and hound-type crossbreds that are specially bred and selected for speed and have less heavy coats. Siberian Huskies were designed to pull a light load over long distances at a medium pace, and simply can't keep up with their faster counterparts. Siberians are still popular in races restricted to purebreds and are faster than other pure sleddog breeds such as the Samoyed and Alaskan Malamute. Today the breed tends to divide along lines of “racing” Siberians versus “show” Siberians.

Apart from dogsled racing, they are very popular for recreational mushing and are also used for skijoring (one to three dogs pulling a skier) and European ski-pulka. A few owners use them for dog-packing and hiking. They have also been used as therapy dogs.

Journal

Journal entry 1

I woke up today…well they woke me up. And I remembered…Jill. She had died when we hit the hidden reefs. And I found some floating wood that I guess saved me. Though now I’m not sure if I’m safe…not really. They talked to me for hours and hours about who I was and why I was out in my yacht. I told them over and over again I don’t work for the government or any body. That I am just a super model and my boat wrecked. They found a trunk with some of my stuff in it. Some other clothes and my Johnny Depp movies thank God! My lap top was in it too so it had more of my movies in it. But I don’t get internet here…don’t want me to contact someone for help I suppose.

I can’t believe that Jill is really dead. She was my best friend and the most loyal person in my band of helpers. And my body guards…I'm glad that Jill talked me out of having the dogs come with. I wonder who’s going to take them. Most likely it will be Jen. My sister and brother were going to miss me a lot, though with me being ‘dead’ and all they would get lots of money. There would be a large funeral and it is going to be all over the news, I just know it. I hope no one misses me too much. I don’t like causing people that much pain.

I did have a rewarding full life in the real world while it lasted. Since it doesn’t seem I’ll be going back anytime soon. I don’t yet know what the deal is around here. Their so uptight about what I see and what they have said around me. I know there are other people here. I wonder if like me they were ship wreaked here as well. I hope to get out of this soon. I told them that I would never tell anyone anything if they let me go but I don’t think they trust me.

I'm really tired now...I’m going to bed. I hope tomorrow is better. I want to figure out whats going on here.

Rosetta Mercury.

Entry 2

I was taken to a different room today. They said it was going to be my new home cause I had 'died' now. I sat on the bed and cried. I missed my dogs. And my life! I was finally getting some place when that stupid storm came out of no where and ruined my life. Now I'm stuck on this stupid island with a bunch of kidnaping freaks! This isn't fair! I need to figure out how to get my laptop to get internet and contact some one for help. Though first I'll need to figure out where exactly this island is. I need to stop now I hear people coming.

RM

Entry 3

I do hope that my brother and sister looked for me before the funeral. I hope the dogs are happy and don't miss me too much either. I was taken to see a doctor today and he did like a physical on me. He asked me about my mental history and my physical one and I told him about my fear of spiders, and the surgery I had when I was 4 to remove my tonsles but I didn't get sick too often then normal, and I had never broken anything. He wrote it all down then I was taken back to my room. I don't know what this is all for but I have stopped asking over and over cause no one is answering my questions yet. I haven't even been able to see anyone else who might be here...and I hope there are others I can talk to cause these Dr.'s are really annoying...and their little helper nurses arnt much better. I need some sleep now. I hope tomorrow is better.

Rosetta

Entry 4
They took me back to see that silly Dr. again...but this time it was a lot worse. He strapped me down and took my blood then he did something with it and came back and gave me a shot of something...and now i feel weird and strange...I don't know what he gave me but i have a feeling it wasn't good at all. But I was taken some place else now. I havent met any one else yet but I can see trees and i heard people when I was laying down after I got there and wasn't feeling very good. They didn't sound like ant of the nurses or Doctors so I'm assuming they were other people. I hope to met one soon and figure out what is going on here.
