 A pale cub wandered through the jungle, it wasn't a lush or as green as she had heard from her parents, but it didn't matter. This was home to Sevati, and she loved it so. It wasn't until after a talk with her father, did she come to learn more about who she was. And now, she was excited about the prospect of meeting other members of the pride. Lime green eyes scanned the area before spotting a stream. Stopping next to it, she lowered her head and lapped up some water.

 Kimaji had snuck out of the cave she had called home, intent on exploring. She was still unnerved by how dry this area was, but she trusted her mother's beliefs that their Storm God would return one day. In the mean time...what was this? A stream! And a white cub drinking from it further downstream from her? Could she have found the other Mistweavers? "Hiya!" she called to the stranger as she started to walk closer to the other cub. "My name's Kimaji! Who're you?"

Ears perked up as Sevati raised her head to see another cub coming her way. Lime green eyes widen in surprise, this was surely good news to her! She smiled towards the other as Kimaji came closer. Introducing herself, "Hi! I'm Sevati. It's nice to meet you, Kimaji." She couldn't help but be happy at this situation.

Kimaji was happy indeed. Other cubs! Mommy and Daddy were so boring and didn't play with her, but other cubs would. "It's nice to meet you too, Sevati! You're the first cub I've seen here. Are there any more around?" Brown eyes practically sparkled with glee. "What kinda games do you like to play around here?"

Looking over the other cub, she noticed that Kimaji was white with brown spots. This made Sevati happy, at least she wasn't the only lion that was white! She tilted her head slightly, "Really? I haven't met anyone else, which means you're my first friend!" She giggled softly at the notion before continuing, "I have two older sisters, they're both bigger than me...I'm the smallest. And, we haven't really played together since my older sisters are always away with friends and such. I usually just stay with my Daddy." She looked at Kimaji, "Do you know any games?"

"I guess you're my first friend too!" Kimaji grinned. She liked being a first friend, and having a first friend. What a fun day! "I don't have any sisters or broders...Just Mommy and Daddy. But they taught me how to play hide-n-go-seek really well. Do you know how to play that game?"

That sounded like music to the little, pale cub's ears. Sevati couldn't wait to tell her father that she had made a friend! She smiled back at Kimaji, "I can't wait to tell my Daddy! He'll be so happy!" She blinked her lime green eyes and shook her head, "I don't know how to play...can you teach me?" Not only would she make a new friend, but perhaps she'd get to learn a new game that she could play with her family later!

She'd never learned how to play hide-n-seek? Well, if she'd lived here, Kimaji could understand why; there wasn't much left for prey, so there couldn't be many predators here other than the lions themselves. "Sure, I can teach you. It's really easy! One person is It, and they have to close their eyes and count to...ten. Or some other number, but I only know how to count to ten right now. Everyone else has to hide somewhere, and when It is done counting, they shout 'Ready or not, here I come!'. Then It has to find the other people."
Kimaji glanced around, trying to find the good hiding spots beforehand. "I can be It first if you want me to be."

The little white cub nodded her head, that sounded like a good idea to Sevati. The game didn't seem too difficult, so she didn't think she'd have any problems with it. "I go and hide, then you count to ten before going to find me. Got it!" Smiling brightly, "That sounds fine to me, just let me know when I should go and hide." Lime green eyes were scanning the area, looking for the best hiding spot that wasn't too far away.

"Okay..." Kimaji said, giving the area one more glance before she closed her eyes. "Time to hide now. One...two...three..." She did her best to not look suspicious as she held her ears up carefully while she counted. She couldn't look around, but that didn't mean she couldn't listen!

Once Kimaji started counting, Sevati took this as her chance to go to a hiding spot. Dashing away, she went towards a small bush and wiggled her way in between the branches. But, while looking around, she realized that it wasn't as lush with leaves to hide herself because she could see out quite clearly. This wouldn't do, so she got out of the bush and went behind two small rocks. Ah, this would be a nice hiding space, and she could even peek between the two rocks for Kimaji when she went looking for her. But, she forgot to ask, if she's hiding and then found...is she supposed to run somewhere?

"Six...seeeehven...eight...niiiiiine...ten!" Kimaji had decided to draw out her counting a bit more, since it was her new friend's first time playing this game. "Ready or not, here I come!" the light brown-spotted cub shouted before she crept along the stream bed. When she thought she spotted something moving in a nearby bush, she turned and got into pouncing position. But, after jumping through and akwardly landing on her stomach, she realized that she had not found Sevati. Where was she...?

Ears perked up as Sevati felt her body tense slightly. Kimaji was done counting and that means, that she is going to look for her! This was so much fun. As she heard Kimaji some distance away, she slowly peeked out to see if she could spot her friend. Yes! There's the little brown and white cub, not too far away. She brought her head back and waited till her friend would figure out where she was, though, she had to remember not to make a sound or else she'd be caught!

Well, jumping at all the random bushes in the area might be a fun game for later, but Kimaji had to find Sevati! She couldn't very well let the other cub have boasting rights, could she? She narrowed her eyes and crawled along the ground, trying to see a glimpse of white in the jungle. "Sevaaaaatiiiiii...I'm gonna fiiiiiiind yoooooou..." And she would. Just not at this particular moment.

It took all of Sevati's self control not to laugh! This was a lot of fun. She shook her head and whispered in her head that Kimaji wouldn't find her. But of course the other cub would, sooner or later. Her lime green eyes peek around the side of the rock once more and saw that Kimaji was coming closer to where she was. Oh no!
