North Window' is just one of the three sub-divisions of '
Suikoden Universe'; please be sure to check out all three, and decide which one is right for you, before choosing where you will apply to. This is highly suggested because once you have chosen your niche - it takes effort to move you.

North Window's' rules may or may not be identical to those of the other castles or other threads that you may have posted in, so please, be sure to read through them and abide by them. If any of those rules are broken (depending upon the degree of the offense) action will be taken including addition to the warning and black lists.
The Rules:- Like all of Gaia, '
North Window' is a PG-13 area. Please keep all language at that level; you know what that is. If you don't know what PG-13 includes, '
North Window is
not the place for you.
- No bumping or spamming. Bumping or spamming in this thread is not needed since we
are stickied. Just don't do it.
- Be respectful of other players. Opinions are a great thing, but they should not always be expressed. There is a time and a place for everything and if you
know that what you are posting may hurt another person, then just don't do it.
- Follow all rules posted in the '
GAIA Terms of Service'. If you cannot follow these then you
will, and I repeat,
will be removed from this thread; pronto.
- Controversial topics
are allowed in '
North Window. This includes race, religion, sexual orientation, sex in general, and politics. If any of these topics are
taboo to you, or if you feel that you may be offended by this material; please leave '
North Window' now.
- You cannot belong to two castle. This is self-explanatory.
- And lastly but certainly not leastly, don't be a dumbass. You all know what a dumbass is. Don't be one.
As an added note, if you fall victim to verbal abuse from another user or you feel that you have been disrespected or violated in any way, please tell Brad Meine
immediately. It is much better to tell me than it is to fight with the other party and potentially escalate the situation so that you are
both blacklisted. Keep your head on your shoulders.
Crime & Punishment:'
North Window' will have punishment based on a 'three strikes' rule. After receiving your first strike, you will be added to a list of potential problem causers also known as the warning list. The warning list will display your name for all members to see as well as list the number of strikes that you have received; three strikes and you're out. Once you are out, you will be added to the dreaded '
black list'. Your name will be highlighted for all to see and you will not be allowed to post in the '
North Window' thread - also your name will be given to a GAIA moderator as well as all other castle owners.
Before choosing '
North Window' as your castle, please keep in mind that we plan on being the most strict of the three castles.
Joining a Castle:In order to become a member at '
North Window' you
must send a legible private message to Brad Meine stating why you feel you should be considered for a membership at '
North Window Castle'. Frankly, we don't want idiots here. Usually the problem-causers are those who refuse to read the rules and unable to compose a valid, readable private message. I would much rather catch the problem starters before they start and these, sadly, are most often the illiterate people.
Leaving the Castle:If, after you become a member of '
North Window', you feel that you would like to move to one of the other two castles - please notify Brad Meine as well as the master of the castle that you plan to move to. You need the permission of both masters in order to have your name removed from one list and added to another and allowed to participate in another castle's thread.[/rant]
