I've heard of it. In fact, I've seen thumbnails and pictures of the anime so many times it hurts. I should just buckle down and download it already. XD

I suck at giving descriptions so here we go from Anime News Network: When a Doctor makes the highly controversial decision to save a boy's life over the mayor's, it leads to the loss of almost everything he holds dear. His fiance, his career, his social standing. The only thing he keeps is his own feeling of self worth, knowing that he did the right thing in saving the boy, who came in first. Yet even that is threatened when he begins to learn that nothing is as it originally appeared. A trail of bloodshed pointing to the seemingly innocent child leaves him questioning even his beliefs. Whether, in the end, all lives are ever truly equal.
XD It's about the manga, but the anime follows the manga almost page by page. o_O I read the manga first, and it's a simply AMAZING story. I have yet to finish the anime. It's a long story but it's really good. [: And if you read the manga you can appreciate the parody of it in Keroro Gunso a little bit better.

Viz just bought the license, but only have released up to volume 3 out of 18 volumes.
I have the scanlations for the later books, if you wanted to go that route. <.< And before anyone asks I am STILL buying the books! Viz is just taking too long and it was driving me crazy.. T__T I had to know what was gonna happen. Haha.
But yeah it is really interesting.. the entire thing is practically filler-free too.. which is amazing for such a long story... It's funny because something can seem like a filler at first, but then later in the story it somehow plays a part.
Some serious thinking went into this story before it was written.. unless the author is just that amazing. XD

Yes, Yes it was that part.
The most amusing thing to me about that, is that Kururu is drawn to resemble Inspector Lunge... and both Kururu and Inspector Lunge are my favourite characters from those series.

I've read a preview of it...I think it was in one of those free anime booklets you get from Borders or Best Buy (they're practically next door to each other where I live). I don't really remember it all that well, though sweatdrop
