i just noticed while i was rereading angel sanctuary that zaphikel wears glasses.................but since he's blind what does he need them for? confused

Good question though...its probably just an affectation.

Yeah...personally, I think glasses automatically make a lot of people just look ugly.

I thought i remembered Kaori Yuki commenting once that she thought characters in glasses were really sexy. i may be confusing her with another manga-ka however...

Color me stupid. lol I thought that he told Setsuna that he WAS blind, but that later in the Heaven series, he admitted that he wasn't. That it was a deception.
I'm probably wrong, however. sweatdrop
Edit: Or that he was just so used to wearing them from when he COULD see.

It's been years since I've read through the series in detail, but he was blinded by Adam Kadamon's radiance when his UberHoliness appeared to him after Zaphikel slit his own throat in a suicide attempt after rather life-shattering events. Adam Kadamon saved him, but Zaphikel hasn't been able to see since[/SPOILERS]
