Something a bit unusual. I went home for the weekend and made a tattie bogle for the gala competition.

It's Davey Jones!

and here's just the face, before I cut the tentacles or stuck it on the body.

It took me a couple of hours, but he is very cool and will not only scare the crows away but also children.

I have no clue what a tattie bogle is but I ADORE this. I don't have anything intelligent to say about it really. I just really really enjoy this.

In the back of my mind this is making me have visions of Davey Jones Tentacle Rape Sex Dolls.

So what are his clothes made out of, are those trash bags?

Well, it's my mum's house. She just didn't have any ideas for her own one.

Yeah, his costume it mainly binbags. I didn't have any straw to stuff him with so he is basically a metal stick man with an old jacket over it and a buoy for a head. Then I just dressed him in bin bags and seaweed!

(I forgot, the seaweed was a slightly later development, but if you can imagine this whole thing draped with seaweed and barnacles, that's what it looks like now!)

Well, I won the competition! xd First place, although unfortunately there were no cash prizes. sad
