-entry two: where do we come from-

The Jikan clan originated in the water country long ago, the oldest ancestor known is Jikan Kyujitai, who was a member of the organization: "The seven shinobi swordsman of the mist"



His two sons went both another way when they grew up, and went apart when they were 20 years old, one traveled to the lightning country, and one stayed in kirigakure, his only daughter stayed in kirigakure as well

on this day, concentrations of the Jikan clan can be found on three places, in Kirigakure and Kumogakure, and as last also in Amegakure, where the surviving Jikans from Kumogakure migrated after the destruction of Kumogakure, and where the ones who stayed there after Kumogakure's rebuilding still live

-entry four: the Jikan seals-

every Jikan has witnessed one in his life, and most likely walks around with one if he's a chuunin or older then 14. where do these marks originate from and why are they so important to a Jikan?

let's start off with the desin of those seals, they are build up from a inner circle, and they build up from there. the origin of that circle is power hat cirulates in an infinite way through the circle. from that inner circle the seal spreads out in the 8 wind directions and from there a second and third circle are made, but these are hardly ever complete.
the reason the outer cirlce are broken is that the power must be released into the body to have an effect on the user, that occurs at the places where circles are broken. another way to release power from a circle is through incantations around the circle but it isn't very practical to appl that on signs that only have the size of a spread hand.

for this purpose there is always a point in the seal as well, this point works as an amplifier to enhance the power that is released. it is mosty attached to the second ring and most commonly it points downward.

there are also variatons of seals that have special properties, for example the power seals and the dark seals.
a power seal has special characteristics that give it extra power, for example: an extra point, more complete circles, more body connection points, etc. in Ame it is usual to make power seals with double points, and for that purpose those seals are dubbed "double point seals". the variatons of power seals are great, but in the end there is one unique characteristic. they have the power to activate dark seals.

then over to the dark seal, these seals are a curse to have and people who have them are mostly missing-nins and convicted criminals within the Jikan clan.
a dark seal is signfied by broken circle shards through the points of the seal, this deforms the point into an amplifier of dark energy which eats away at the wearer and corrupts his soul and mind. a power seal wearer can activate dark seal with a special fuuin jutsu only known to the main branch of the family.
