This is the guild banner and suggestion thread. Now, I'm no expert at making fancy banners, anything I have made has been in Paint. So if you'd like to make a banner, post it here, and the code for us to implant it into our siggies. I'll make one or two of my own, but your's will probably be a lot better looking and more attractive sweatdrop

You can also make suggestions for the guild here. I'll make a list in this post of all suggestions (and credit the person who suggested it).

EDIT: As I have upped the age to 25, we are now in dire need of new banners to replace the ones that state 'under 20'. My reasoning for changing the age range is because even those who are 22, 23, 24 and sometimes even 25 get judgmental comments towards them. I'll leave the current banners up for the time being until we can get some new ones in.

Donations & Sub-forum Suggestions
Firstly I'd like to thank all who have donated, and for anyone who donates in the future. Your donations are much appreciated smile
So I'd like to take this opportunity to hear from you. Is there any sub-forums you would like to see in the guild? If so don't fret to post your suggestions here. If we get a few suggestions by, say, the beginning of January, I will make a poll to vote as to which forums should be made more swiftly, or as swiftly as possible. I will put the poll up for possibly another month, and at the end of that month (most likely the beginning of February) I will list which forums are to come in which order. I will update and strike out the forums that have been made, so we know which are left to work towards.
Again, a big thanks for the donations, and another big thank for donations to be made in the future.

Keeping the guild alive and recruiting more members
A great suggestion by AerynsMommy is to advertise, advertise, advertise! Such as with contests, campaigning, better banners (because mine suck lol) lotto and dice games. These are great ideas but lets not forget about the people who matter; the guild members! Though some of the contests and games will need more members to be involved and to be recruited first to be better played, it would be good to to also remember the current members as well as getting new ones.
Also for the current members, a banner contest. Great suggestions AerynsMummy biggrin And with the banner you're trying(as you put it) to make, keep at it! It is much appreciated smile

A quick update. I'm going to move the threads from All Things Gaia into the main Lounge, and will change that forum to Parenting QnA & Discussion. Reason for this is that as the forum currently is, it's hardly in use and we do need a forum that IS going to be used.

Ooh! I've also posted a topic about the guild in the CB(I figured HEY why not?) and the guilds forum!

OOOH and uh how much gold does it cost to make a subforum? Because I really liked the All Things Gaia subforum and I was also thinking it would also be a good idea to make a Holiday/Contest/Events subforum. GOD I need to stop thinking of things! Lol!

Oh! (yeah I know here I go again sweatdrop ) I hope you don't mind that I made a Birthday and Location thread. I figured the BIrthday one would be nice so people could say happy birthday and so maybe the guild could give them a little gift or something. Plus it helps us get to know each other better =3 The location thread was made so people could know who's form where and see if maybe they might have someone living near them. I thought that would make things easier for them and able to have someone to talk to about things in their state/city/country/province better and maybe get a friend IRL from it! I mean some teen parents and pregnant teens feel so lonely because they know of no one near them who are or did go through the same things they are going through now. =3

Banner and LI post
It's a lovely banner. I can't see anything wrong with it. And I thought it was a Photoshop done piece, not a Paint one whee . It looks great, I'll add it to the first post for easy access for other members.
And the LI posts are a good idea. It should attract interest hopefully to those are who about to 'omg i think im preg wot i do?!?!?!?' Save the possibility of spamming up the LI and give them somewhere where they can feel a lot better about talking about their situation in one.

Subforums
It costs 2500g per subforum, and I will bring back the All Things Gaia, but we needed the Pregnancy and Parenting ones more. And I've seen in other Guilds the Holiday/Contest/Events subforum and they have always done pretty well, so good thinking there!
And when you say TPPG Mule you mean a mule account for the guild? I can do that. I've got like three other accounts (one is actually my brothers but he wont use it) so I can use that one (if he misses it he can have my other account) and rename it appropriately. Plus the fact I hardly ever go on it anyway means whatever goes into it, will stay there until needed smile

Birthday and Location Threads
I've really not been with it for a good few weeks. I'm sure everyone can tell. I should've thought of those xp But they are a great idea. However the stickiness of them I have no idea WHY that disappeared after you updated. I think it might be because it will show up as a normal thread to you but gives me the options of normal, sticky and announcement. But that shouldn't of affected it anyway.
And thanks for the prewarning of expected guests. I'll check the Join Request later as it was empty when I looked just now. I've got tomorrow afternoon free and possibly morning as well. Kyra's hopefully going to be out with daddy for a parent and toddler group in the morning and has nursery in the afternoon. Soooo after I've used the morning to do the housework, I'll be sitting on here for the afternoon sorting various things out.

Im also making an adoption thread in the pregnancy forum and the parenting forum. Well an Adopted one in parenting and adoption in the pregnancy one. ok. Ill try and stop it at there. But its so HARD. lol
