When you have to buy the same book again because you've reread the old one so many times it fell completely apart.

When moving, you have boxes and boxes of books (and you wouldn't dream of giving them away).

Two of the walls of your room are covered by completely filled bookshelves and you still have books laying on the desk, night stand, dresser and bed! whee

I might do that with my first Harry Potter book, its paperback and the others are hardcover.

Almost, the librarians knew my name so they never asked for when they checked my books out. And at Waldenbooks they know my brother and I.

I love it when that happens.

I have one that has happened to me: People think you work at your favorite bookstore when you don't, because you know where everything is.

This happened when I was in sales. The bookstore was next to where I worked so I went in there on breaks to read. In sales, you form a habit of noticing when people look like they are trying to find something and not succeeding, so I would occasionally give directions. Wearing the clothes for real job tended to support the notion that I worked there... wink
