In australia we have a show called 'the chasers war on everything.' nhizilkia keeps telling timelady to watch it, so she taped it and we were watching it today. (the reason that she's not telling you this herself is that her computer chair broke down and she's gone off to her room to yell, because the computer chair breaking means she fell a looooooong way.) so im logged on her computer. again. anyway, one of the guys going 'with the recently new doctor who episodes (sad but true, we're only up to tooth and claw...) we've decided to do a little tribute...' and there was this guy playing the guitar singing this song. In australia liking doctor who, in the words of netballgal99 is 'for forty-year-olds who live with their parents, and people like Spike (timelady42).' the chasers took this on board, and made this song about this loser that like doctor who. It was really funny. he play the guitar, and at first he went 'ok, what's this tune.' and they put him... you know the beginning when they play the theme song and the TARDIS is travelling through the thingamajigbob? that. he was in the middle of that, almost yodelling the theme song and then went off on a speel about how much of a loser he was. Timelady and her dad were killing themselves i swear. and we got it one tape (woo hoo!) so isi and bajazette and velvetnight can all watch it. and if i can get membob to put it onto her computer...

Hmm, that sounds interesting. Any chance one of you could put it up on YouTube for us non-Aussies to check the song out?
I wonder what you people were doing that broke that poor old computer chair...

Oh, man, that was great. And obviously written by someone who knows the show (or can fake it very well).
But, seriously, does anyone who's seen the classic series not think Robert Holmes is the best script editor of Doctor Who? Oh dear... I fit the 'Fan of Dr. Who' stereotype! No wonder why I can't score much schmoo. gonk
What's schmoo mean anyway?

Hehehe..They're letting us dress up as characters from Doctor Who during book week!! *dances*
Anyway..back to the topic - and I just accidentally deleted all of this, thank goodness for CTRL+Z..
We were watching this on the computer in the library..Those librarians must think we're wierd..but then again, they're the ones who are letting us dress up..
Timelady's computer chair broke? Ow..must have hurt.

It was:
I'm always sure to ask the question "Of all the Doctors who's the best one?" Whenever I meet up with a fellow fan Was it William Hartnel, Peter Cushing, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Richard E. Grant (who only played the role in the 40th anniversary BBC interactive webcast), or Paul McGann
(Oh I couldn't fit it in the song, but my favorite script editor is Robert Holmes)
You don't score much schmoo When you're a fan of Doctor Who Wooo-oooo Woooo-oooo Woo-ooo-ooo Woo-oo-oo
Good night. *yawn*
