Well, I'm not asking for help, nor am I telling people how to say it. I was just wondering your opinions on how my approach is gonna be. For starters, I'm in love with my girlfriend. I just haven't told her yet. I'm also hoping that she doesn't read this, cause it'll ruin it. But, she's the kinda girl who gets flustered when she talks about what she feels, cause it seems this is kinda the first time she's had feelings for someone. But, I could be wrong. So, I'm kinda afraid that saying it will push her away, so I guess I'm asking if I should go through with it or not too. Anyways, I'm gonna go plain and simple, and just say:
"I love you. I hope you don't mind."
Well, what do people think? I'm no-good at this stuff, so if it seems childish and ill-thought out (which is probably is) point it out in a nice, friendly manner.

OHH I KNOW! Just tell your girlfriend in a soft, careing, sweet kind of way "I love you". Just be direct and be sencere and if she is the 'one' she will say it back. Trust me!
EDIT: Im glad people are comming to other paladins for help on matters, i think its a good thing they trust the other paladins!

Aren't you supposed to love your girl friend? I'm not the type to go out just for the sake of it. But, you shouldn't say "I hope you don't mind." Then you sound kind of like a perverted child molestor.

Two things. It's kinda different for me. I mean, it's really love. I can't explain it, I'm weird.
And the second thing, it's a quote from a book I just read, and I thought it fit because I said I'm afraid of pushing her away. It's the kinda thing so she understands that she doesn't have to answer right away. I hope. sweatdrop

I'd only use that quote if she's read the same book and would get the reference. Otherwise it seems like you're unsure about whether or not you really love her.
I know what you mean. You're not sure how you know it's love; you just...know.

I remember this kid kept getting rejected with the same stuff always said back to him..
"Love is too strong of a word," blah blah. o_o; So if you can't say "I love you", then perhaps start it off by using the word "Crush" more than "Love". Crush tends to do the job more than Love in the beginning for most things..
This is just one way though. Not sure if it's the best.
