Hehe, I have the same problem, but I've found ways to work around it, depending on what song I'm doing.

if any of you know piano, i have an octave+2 reach, so i dont really know your pain, but i would think you can just use a smaller scale bass, *shruggles*

I've got massive hands which makes the fret work easy but it gave me a little trouble when I was trying to play fast songs, like Iron Maiden, because my fingers kept getting in the way. So I just kept trying until I found a hand position that lets me play quickly.

I have the small hand problem but i have no trouble playing songs. I have learned to be able to quickly move my index, middle and ring finger to be able to play most songs. I would use my pinky as well but when i boke my hand last march the ligament stetched so i cant really use it. But i can play almost any song you can play with 4 fingers with 3
