You could hit down with your right foot, its what I do. For that specific pattern, that's a bad idea. You'd basically be hitting two 8th notes on different arrows with the same foot, which isn't a good habit to get into. Also, if you have certain arrows assigned to certain feet (reserving Up for ONLY your right foot, reserving Right for ONLY your right foot, etc.) like I used to, Standard is about the time to forget those.

Er, worded that wrong. He'd be hitting the second and third arrow with the same foot (known as doublestepping), which isn't really something you wanna do unless necessary. It's easier to just alternate feet anyway.

Heh. . . Ya'll are all saying the same things using different words. xp right-left-right, respectively. That's all you need to say.
On the subject of double-stepping, I do that like crazy. I tend to do it on the gallops on Twilight Zone when I'm playing Endless mode, 'cause I get to tired to do all those jumps. gonk 16th-note double stepping = not recommended.

It would take a crazy person to double step on 16th notes... unless the song was slower then 100 bpm. I gotta try it on bag just for the fun of it. ninja

I also only hold an A in Twilight Zone on heavy. For once, it all adds up perfectly.

I think the correct thing to say, would be to try and get in the habit of when you see a string coming up (whether or not it is longer then 3 notes), try and hit each note with the other foot.
So instead of goin left, left, right, right, right, left, right, left ,left.
Try left, right, left, right, left, right, left, right.
UNLESS!!! the two notes are the same button. Do those with the same foot biggrin
But I found after you do that for while, you get to learn the patterns between the different notes REALLY well. It helped me, so it's worth a shot i guess.

If it's not a crossover, I alternate. If it is a crossover, unless it's slow enough to do it without ******** my combo, I hit it with the same foot I just used. For instance: left-down-right 8ths at 190 bpm. (BREVK DOWN) left-right-right. If I do the crossovers, it puts me in a bad position to read the chart, and I ******** the next note. I'd rather get P-P-Gr-P than P-P-P-B, you know? On the other hand: right-down-left-up 6ths at 140 bpm (Ordinary World) I go right-left-right-left, because it's good and slow. I try to do the turns, but when I do I can't do the 8th streams too well. gonk
