Until You're Mine, Chapter One

She watched them, secretly glaring at them, as they kissed. Jealousy. Oh, how she wished that was her, to be held by him, kissed by him, loved by him. He may be that boy, but she wasn't that g.irl. And it ripped her heart to pieces every time she thought about it. She silently walked over to them, putting on a fake smile as she always did.

"Hey Cecily!" Lacey, her best friend yelled, running over to her and giving her in a monstrous hug.

"Hi," Cecily said, her voice faint, but loud enough to hear.

"Hello, Cecily," He said.

Cecily let go of Lacey and turned around directing her eyes to the ground, not wanting to get hypnotized by his eyes. She felt if she did, she would never come back, she would be caught in the deep trance and then she would be sucked into a world so dark and mysterious that she would never want to come back.

"H-hello, Ge-Gerard." She stuttered. The crimson colored blood rushed to her cheeks as he smiled, she hated that she could never say anything to him without stuttering. It was like a curse that was stuck to her forever.

"Let's get to class." Lacey said, taking Gerard's hand leading him inside the building of the school. Cecily stood paralyzed for a moment, then with a slight shake of her head followed Lacey and Gerard to class. They had almost all the same classes together, starting with English then Math, then Science, and so forth.

Cecily took a seat in the back of the room, where she always sat, where as Lacey sat in the front with Gerard. Lacey had grown farther apart from Cecily ever since Gerard had asked her out. Not that Cecily minded, the alone time gave her more time to think, and to draw. Cecily loved to draw, it was a passion of hers'. According to other's she was a talented artist.

As Mrs. Moore began her lessons, Cecily pulled out her sketchbook. Her mother had just bought a new one and she hadn't drawn anything in it yet, she knew exactly what she wanted to draw. She picked up her sharpened pencil and flipped open her new sketchbook, she tilted towards Gerard as her pencil sketched the outline of his face. She looked up at him again, as she drew his shoulder length hair, one of her favorite things about him. After she finished with drawing his hair, she moved onto his eyes, the eyes that she knew if she looked into she would be forever lost. Cecily then began drawing his nose and the onto his lips. On his lips she added vampire-like teeth, with a small bit of blood trickling down his chin. As she finished drawing the rest of his body, she felt as if something were missing. She couldn't figure out what was missing, so she left it be. She closed her sketchbook and looked up at the clock. Fifteen more minutes until English was over.

A small paper ball landed on Cecily's desk, causing her to slowly lift her head up. Lacey was turned towards her mouthing her to open it. So she quietly unfolded the paper hoping that Mrs. Moore wouldn't see her. Once she had opened it she read:

Cecily-

Today after school we are going to Gerard's house.
Wanna come?

Love,
Lacey

Cecily thought about it for a moment, she didn't really want to go, but she had also never seen Gerard's house. She looked up to see Lacey staring back at her with hope in her eyes, Gerard was also looking back at her, slightly smiling. It always confused her when he smiled at her like that, but that was one of the things that she loved about him, how he could confuse her so much. She nodded, letting Lacey know that she would go with them.

As she heard the sound of the bell she gathered up her things and moved on to her next class.

Her day seemed to be moving faster, she wished that it wouldn't. She was extremely nervous about going to Gerard's house. What if she did something wrong? Said something wrong? What would he think of her? Would he think she was weird? Or stupid? All the questions flowing together in her head were giving her a headache. She wasn't ready for this.

The bell for the last period rang, causing goose bumps to run up her spine. She felt sick, she didn't want to go. She could tell them that she wasn't feeling well, they would understand. Yeah, that's what she was going to do.

She ran out of class to her locker where Lacey was waiting.

"Hey Ceci!" Lacey shrieked, using Cecily's nickname.

"Hey Lacey. I'm not feeling to well, I don't think I can go over to Gerard's with you." Cecily said faking a small cough.

Lacey frowned. "You are not getting out of this. You are going to come with us and have some fun! And that cough..you need to work on it, it was a little too fake."

Cecily sighed as Lacey began walking out to her car, she reluctantly followed. Once they had reached the car, Cecily climbed in the back, and looked up towards the passenger seat where Gerard sat. He smiled at her through the review mirror, she gave him a small smile back as Lacey entered the car.

The whole ride was about fifteen minutes and consisted of Cecily staring blankly out the window and Gerard and Lacey quietly chatting up in the front seats. Once they pulled up to Gerard's home all three exited the car.

Until You're Mine, Chapter Two

Cecily quietly followed the two up the walk way with her messenger bag heaved over her shoulder. Her palms started to sweat as they grew closer to the house, the usual, calm, steady beating of her heart quickened each step she took. Butterflies seemed to swirl around in her stomach as Gerard pulled the keys to his house out of his pocket, quickly unlocking the door.

Once inside, Gerard led them down a hallway and out to a garage where band equipment was set up. A normal sized blue couch was sitting in front of the equipment, looking as if the guys put one shows in there garage for friends and family. Four other guys were already in the room laughing and messing around with the guitars and microphone.

"Gee! Where the f.uck ya been?" One of the four called out.

"Sorry guys, brought my lovely g.irlfriend, Lacey, and her friend Cecily along. They're going to watch us play."Gerard explained.

"Oh, so this is the g.irl you've been hiding from us." A boy with glasses said. Gerard nodded.

"Lacey, Cecily, this is Frank," Gerard said, pointing to a boy with dark brown hair, that was spiked upwards. He had a lip ring on the bottom, right side, of his lip. He wearing a pair of worn out jeans, with rips in the knees and a faded black t-shirt. To Cecily he was amazingly gorgeous.

"Ray," Gerard pointed to a boy with a huge reddish-gold colored fro. Seeing his fro made Cecily want to giggle, but she kept her mouth shut. He was also wearing worn jeans. But he was wearing a bright red t-shirt.

"Mikey, my brother," Cecily's eyes landed on a skinny boy, with light brown hair. He was wearing huge, bulky-black, rimmed glasses on his face. His attire was a green T-shirt and tight g.irl pants.

"And Bob." Cecily scanned Bob, he seemed quiet, like herself. He had short b.londe hair, that had no particular style. He was dressed in black jeans and a black shirt.

Each boy gave a small wave or a 'hi', causing Cecily to smile.

After each boy was introduced Cecily followed Lacey over to the couch and sat down, as the five took their places with their instruments.

"We are My Chemical Romance, and this song is called 'Demolition Lovers. It's dedicated to you Lace."Gerard said, smiling into the mic.

Although, Cecily was jealous beyond reason, knowing that Lacey didn't deserve Gerard, because she would do what she did with all her other boyfriends, she would eventually cheat on him. And it would hurt her more than it did him. He didn't deserve that.

Once the song started, Cecily's thoughts slowly faded away as she was engulfed with the soothing sound of Gerard's voice.

Hand in mine, into your icy blues.
And then I'd say to you, we could take to the highway
With this trunk of ammunition too, I'd end my days with you in a hail of bullets.

I'm trying, I'm trying, to let you know just how much you mean to me.
And after all the things we put each other through.
And I would drive onto the end with you, a liquor store or two keeps the gas tank full.
And I feel like there's nothing left to do, but prove myself to you.

Cecily was in complete awe, this song was beautiful, it was so intense, so, words couldn't explain how amazing this song was. Her favorite line was 'Like a bed roses, there's a dozen reasons in this gun'.

A couple more songs were played, one being 'Cubicles' and the other 'This Is The Best Day Ever'. Cecily was amazed by all three songs. They might not be big yet, but someday, someday there won't be a person in the world who hasn't heard of My Chemical Romance, she thought. She just knew it.

Listening to Gerard sing these songs made her want him more. She wanted him to hold her and sing her to sleep, to have his lips pressed harshly against her own, to have his hands all over her. She soon brushed the thoughts off as Lacey squealed and ran over to Gerard, pressing her lips to his. They started to kiss non-stop, torturing Cecily, until someone cleared their throat and suggested that we watched a movie.

A movie was chosen, The Rocky Horror Pictures Show, popcorn was popped, and glasses were filled with soda. About five minutes into the movie the doorbell rang, Frank, was the closest to the door so he got it. Turns out it was the rest of the boy’s g.irlfriends.

Mel, Angel, Cat, and Molly were their names. Mel took a seat on Frank's lap, Angel cuddled up with Mikey, Cat snuggled with Bob, and Molly leaned herself against Ray.

Cecily frowned when she noticed that she had no one to cuddled up to. But she just decided to ignore it and get out her sketchbook, she opened it to the next clean page, pulling out her pencil she started to draw. Scribbling her pencil every which-way. When she was finished it turned out to be a gun sitting onto of a bed of roses, Cecily smiled remembering the song. In her neatest cursive handwriting she wrote 'Like a bed of roses, there's a dozen reasons in this gun'. She smiled at her creation, it was most likely her favorite.

Once finished she lifted her head, everyone was sleeping. She put down her sketch book on the inn table next to her, cuddling up with a blanket to watch the rest of the movie. She hadn’t noticed how tired she was, as her eyelids drooped, slowly snapping themself shut.

Gerard watched as Cecily's eyes closed. He wondered why she always stuttered around him, but he nonetheless he thought it was cute. It always caused him to smile, as she blushed, no other g.irl could ever do that to him. Not even Lacey. He also wondered why Cecily was so quiet around him, Lacey said she had quite a big mouth when he wasn't there. Did she not like him? Did he embarrass her? The questions invaded his mind until he fell into a peaceful slumber.

Cecily awoke with a jolt, the movie had shut off leaving a blank screen. Gray clouds had crowded the sky, but it hadn't started raining. Cecily quickly checked her watch, that read seven o'clock exactly. She needed to get home, and from what she had figured out one the way here her house was only a couple of blocks away.

Everyone in the house was still sleeping, so she quietly grabbed her massager bag completely forgetting about her sketch book. She walked around the sleeping bodies sprawled out across the floor and headed towards the door. Once outside she started to hum the tune to 'Demolition Lovers'.

Gerard awoke, realizing that Cecily wasn't on the couch anymore. So without a sound her stood up and walked over to the window, peeling back the curtain he saw Cecily twirling around in the rain. It was only sprinkling, but it would start to pour soon. Gerard quickly grabbed his leather jacket and quietly closed the door behind him. As he neared closer to the g.irl he had noticed she was humming the tune to 'Demolition Lovers', causing him to grin. He tapped her on the shoulder, as she swung around, fear plastered in her icy blue eyes.

"Oh my gosh, you scared me!"Cecily practically yelled.

"It was just so tempting."He said smiling. "Do you want a ride home?"

"N-o I c-can walk, thanks."She stuttered.

"You sure?"

"I-I'm,"Right as she was about to finish her sentence it started to pouring rain.

"You still sure?"He asked, smiling, as he walked over to his car and opened the door for her. She climbed inside, fastening her seat belt as he got in on the driver's side. She told him her address as he turned on the car and backed out of the driveway.

"So, Cecily, what'd you think of our band?"He asked, while he looked for her street.

"It w-was amazing. You're defiantly going to get somewhere, especially with talent l-like that."Cecily said smiling.

"Thanks."Gerard smiled back. "Which song did you like best?"

"Demolition Lovers,"Cecily said without hesitation. "It's a beautiful song."

Gerard nodded, remembering her humming the tune. She had a nice voice, soft and gentle, prefect for a song like that.

Cecily stared out the window, as they drove down her street. Once she spotted her house she pointed to it.
“That it, thank you for driving me home. And for letting me go over your house and all.” She said, noticing that she hadn’t stuttered one bit.

“My pleasure,” He replied, leaning towards her a little.

Her eyes widened. What was he doing? Was he going to kiss her, was what she had waited for ever since she met him really going to happen?

She leaned towards him, as he leaned closer. His gentle lips touched hers’, causing her stomach to flutter with butterflies. Her breathing became rapid, as his tongue slid over her bottom lip, she opened her mouth as his tongue tangled with hers’. But as they started getting into it, he broke the kiss.

“I’m sorry, Cecily. I shouldn’t-,”

“It’s okay, I shouldn’t have either.”She said cutting him off in mid-sentence. She slipped out of the car and waved goodbye to him.

***

That night all she could think about was the kiss, and how delightful it was. Her last thought was I won’t stop, until he’s mine, as she faded away to her dreamland.

Until You're Mine, Chapter Three

Okay, so I just wanted to thank everyone who read my story, because it means a lot to me. I love you all. <3333

Cecily had been in a daze every since the kiss, fading in and out of reality. She just couldn't stop, wouldn't stop, thinking about that kiss, her first kiss. It had been so breath-taking, so amazing, so incredible, so short. She wished that it would have lasted longer, that he didn’t pull away, that she had had the courage to place her lips back on his, to run her fingers through his hair, to snake her arms around his neck to deepen the kiss. She wanted this so much, she needed it, but she couldn’t have it.

She could never have him or his lips to her’s again, because of one thing; Lacey. Lacey was the only thing that stood between them, and Cecily knew that she wouldn’t give him up, even if she was cheating on him. Ever since Cecily had befriend Lacey, in grade school, she had gotten everything that Cecily wanted. Cecily had told Lacey about the first boy that she had ever liked, even though it was just puppy love, she still wanted to have him all to herself, but Lacey had taken him the first chance she got. Even if it was just a mall thing like a shirt she didn’t have enough money for, Lacey would have it the next day. Everything that she wanted, seemed to somehow magically appear into Lacey’s hands.

Cecily walked over to the full-length mirror in her room, staring back at her reflection was a with natural bleach b.londe colored hair down to her shoulders, icy blue eyes that seemed to look lost, an average-sized figure with small curves, and a creamy-porcelain skin color. She despised the way she looked, she saw no beauty in herself, only a dull, ugly, shy g.irl that would never have love in her life. She wanted to smash her reflection into tiny shards of glass, and to never be able to see it again, she wanted to cry her eyes out, until she could cry no more, she wanted to kill herself in the most painful way possible, she wanted to intoxicate herself with drugs, but she didn’t. She didn’t do a single thing but stare at her reflection.

Gerard had thought about Cecily that night, unable to sleep. He thought about the kiss too, he wasn’t sure why he did it. It seemed as if it was a urge, a longing, a need. She had looked so beautiful, with her hair shoulder length hair soaking wet from the rain, her mascara that had slightly ran down her face, her soft lips had looked that had called to him. She had looked simply gorgeous and he had wanted her.

No matter how hard Gerard had tried to get Cecily’s angel-like face out of his mind, he couldn’t. No matter how much told himself that he really loved Lacey, he didn’t. But he wasn’t going to let go of Lacey, she was important to him no matter what.

“Gerard!” Mikey’s voice had yelled, breaking Gerard’s train of thoughts.

“What?” Gerard yelled back, irritation filling from his voice.

Soon Gerard could hear footsteps running up the stairs to his room, his door flinging opened, as his younger brother walked in, with something in his hand.

“Mom said to stop leaving your sketch books lying around.” The younger one said, handing Gerard a sketch book.

Gerard stared at the book for a moment, this wasn’t his. He had always made certain marks on his so he knew that they belonged to him.

“Mikey this isn’t-,” Gerard had started to say as his brother slammed the door to his room, footsteps stomping down the stairs.

Gerard’s curiosity grew as he stared down at the book in his hands. He wondered if he should open it, or who’s it was. The book taunted him as he looked at it, it seemed to be screaming out ‘open me, open me!’. After much anticipation he decided to open it, just to take a little peak.

He slid the cover open, and stared back in shock as he studied the picture. The picture was of him, as a vampire or at least he thought so. There seemed to be no detail missing from any part of the picture. It looked almost perfect, though he thought very less of himself. But it wasn’t finished, or it didn’t seem finished, so he pulled out a pencil and a couple colored markers and let his them smoothly glide across the paper.

Cecily had stared at her reflection until she no longer could, until it made her feel sick. She had decided to lay on her bed and let her mind wander, and it just so happened to wander to the first day she met Gerard, exactly eight months ago on the first day of school.

Cecily had survived all the other classes without a problem, and next was her favorite class, Art. She sat at a table all alone, not that it bothered her, she had always liked to be alone. The Art teacher had just begun class, as the door burst open, a panting boy walked into the room.

“Ah, it’s only the beginning of the year and you’re late already. What’s your name?” Mrs. Jade said, shaking her head.

“Gerard Way, ma’am.” The boy answered back.

“Well, Mr. Way take a seat. I’ll cut you some slack because it’s the first day, but after that make sure you’re on class to time.” Mrs. Jade said sternly as she turned around back to the lesson and began teaching once again.

The boy had looked around the room, all the seats full except the one next to Cecily. Her stomach was filled with butterflies as he walked towards the chair, taking a seat.

She started to study him, he looked different from all the other guys in school. He had shoulder length black hair looked as if he hadn’t brushed it that morning, his hazel colored eyes were shining with specks of green in them, almost daring someone to stare into them and get lost. He was wearing a black band T-shirt and black jeans. He looked....she wasn’t even sure how to put it, but she liked it.

The next thing Cecily knew he had turned towards her and started talking to her.

“What’s your name?” He had asked.

She hadn’t really expected him to talk, surprised that he did she answered back in a stutter. “Ce-Cecily.”

“I’m Gerard, but you probably already know that because of that little ‘late thing’.” He said back, smiling. Cecily wanted to melt, his smile was nice. It was almost contagious, making her want to smile back.

They had started to talk to each other more and more each Art class, but Cecily was always nervous. So she stuttered each time she would say something to him, but he didn’t seem to mind. She liked that. But most of all, she liked him.

No more than two weeks later Cecily had introduced Gerard and Lacey. Big mistake. Gerard had seemed really interested in Lacey and Lacey had seemed interested in him. A week later Gerard had asked out Lacey and that same week later Cecily’s world crashed. She had really liked Gerard and now he was with the g.irl who had taken everything Cecily wanted, and she wasn’t about to stop.

As the two begun to date, Gerard had grown farther and farther apart from her. He would talk to her, but it would only be short sentence’s like ‘Hi’ or ‘How are you?’, but nothing else. Cecily had been crushed, but vowed to herself that he would be her’s one day.

Cecily was pulled out of her thoughts as her phone began to ring, until she picked it up.

“Hello?” She said to the unknown caller.

“Cecily, I need to talk to you.”
