Mbali was still following Bari, he was also still being silent. The mainly white pridelander knew what was to await him as he had snuck off when little miss snob had been sleeping. He had met another lion and been told about these lands and their rulers, some he would have to see about miss snob bag.
He stopped suddenly and stretched a bit. These were the lands, he recognized bits of it. At last, he could get rid of her!

They were at the forest. Bari didn't know it too well, being only apart of it once when her father had brought her hear. She grimmaced slightly, the wounds from days prior beginning to affect her more and more with each passing day. "We...should rest." She said calmy, though that was more for herself. She had a feeling something was going to happen if she didn't just sit down, if just for a minute. Though, they were so close to the lands! Mbali wouldn't want to stop right now!

Mbali's ears pricked up and he nodded, "A rest sounds good." He looked around for a decent tree to lay under and collapsed. He laid on his side, watching Bari. He was worried about her, her injury wasn't nice and it could get worse or something. He felt so useless not being able to do anything to help her. "You hungry? I could see if I can find anything?"

Unlike Mbali had, Bari didn't just 'collapse' on the ground. She searched for a tree, somewhat away from the male, circled the ground a few times before slowly easing her self onto it. She winced, her back leg curling ever so slightly, along with her tail moving close by it's side. "No.." she muttered with a slight growl. But it was false. The mocha cub was starving! She sighed again, coughing slightly. Infection probably set in one of the wounds, causing a small sickness to arouse. Walking from the pridelands down to the Kusini lands with a wound wasn't too healthy for a juvenille cub.

Mbali looked at her and sighed. "Ok well if your not hungry I am going to go and look around assuming you won't kill yourself while I find the other lions." He sat up and looked over at her, he was worried about her and wanted to find either this king or queen he had heard about, he needed to get Bari some help.

Bari huffed, curling up into another ball as she coughed again. She...wanted to go home.... But who was there? No one...no one who cared anyways. She mewled quietly, watching as Mbali left her. She was about to whimper to him not to go, but who was she kidding! He wouldn't listen! (at least that is what she thought) No one ever listened..
The sky blue eye lioness sat at the edge of one of the entrances of the forest. I wouldn't say she was guarding it...but rather just waiting. Since she had heard of the newest lion who had graced the Kusini lands, she wondered if maybe today would be the day his father would return for him. So every day, for about 10 to 15 minutes, Ari would sit, waiting, before continuing her way.
By the time it was up, she had begun to move away, pondering slightly about the rains that would soon hit the Kusini lands.

Mbali was a little sad leaving her but he would return soon.
Once out of sight he ran to the edge of the forest where she saw the adult femme leaving. He looked at her colouring and nearly choked. He ignored it for now and ran upto her, "Excuse me! Hey, miss!!" He wasn't overly polite but then that didn't matter right now, Bari is what mattered.
"Excuse me, You know Ari or Asi? I heard they rule these lands, I need one of them to see a friend of mine, she hurt badly and ill!" He rushed it out before the lioness could even attempt to attack him or anything else.

Ari, attack another? Only if they proved a threat to her home, but this one was just a cub!
"Pardon?" She asked, bewildered at the sudden burst from the small male. Where had he come from..? Not many knew how to get through the forest alone! Had he been here before?
The queen gazed at Mbali. "Calm down, and slow down when you speak. I'm afraid I'm not as young as I use to be," She murmured quietly, hearing the words 'sick and injured friend' in his sentence. "Asi? Ari?" She repeated the names.
"Yes...I know them," She quirked an eyebrow. "Because I am Ari." She said quietly. "Where is this friend of yours?"

Mbali panted a little as she spoke and suddenly perked up when she said who she was. "My friend, Bari, we travelled from the pridelands, she was trying to show off and hunt something huge on her own but got trampeled. She is this way."
He quickly started to bound off in the direction he had came but slowed down remembering what she had said about not being young anymore.

"Bari?" She tilted her head. It couldn't be.. Baridi'akali? her granddaughter? No...Nahi would never let her wander..but then again, she didn't know Denahi as well as she use to. Perhaps this female had the same mind as her son, if it happened to be who she thought it was.
Though Ari had commented she was old, she could still run. She moved quickly behind Mbali, watching his moves and following them to the exact. So, this one left his friend just before the borders. Hmm, it was a good idea, seeing the wild dogs roamed the lands of the forest.
When they arrived out of the forest, Ari gaze around, waiting for Mbali to show her the next direction.

Mbali continued to walk untill he reached the tree that the femme had laid down. He stopped and panted a little. "Bari?" He looked back and smiled at the adult lioness, "Here..."

Sky eyes met the sight of the pitiful ball of fur curled up. Her fears were realized when the same pelt was reconized on her mate, and 3 daughters, as well as her first grandson. "Baridi..." She murmured quietly, frowning as she made her way over to the sick cubling. "Baridi, wake up." No one called Bari by her true name. None, but her grandmother of course.
Bari hazily opened her eyes, looking into the eyes of her father. Wait...those were his father's eyes. Her teal orbs snapped open. "Goaway!" She snarled, only to have it come out as a supressed cough. "I don't want to speak to /you/" she sneered angrilly. Her eyes settled onto Mbali. "We aren't staying here!" She growled weakishly, wanting to stand but her energy not excepting it.

Mbali sighed and went over to her. "Bari, we can stay here at least untill you are better, like it or not your ill and you aint going anywhere till I say so." He stared down at her long and hard. He knew she couldn't fight him, he knew she would probably try.
She then turned to the older one, "You know Bari?"

Bari growled. She lifted a paw, attempted to swing, and then collapsed. That went well? The mocha cub laid on the ground, her breathing hitched, passed out from wasted energy.
"That went well..." The queen remarked, raising both eyebrows in amusement of her grandaughter. She turned to Mbali, nodding slightly. "Indeed..." She murmured quietly again, flicking her tail against the ground. "She...is the daughter of Denahi.
"She....is my granddaughter" Ari added

Mbali shook his head, "Silly girl."
He listened to what the older lioness said and looked slightly shocked, "Oh, right.. erm, can you carry her somewhere safer and maybe warmer?" He didn't say much about them being related, he still found it all a bit weird.
