The sound alarmed the poor elephant boy who wasn't used to having his trips interrupted by such drama. So there was some excuse for the startled little trumpet that escaped him. Still, when the door was opened on his side he rushed after Talia, wanting to know what it was that had her so worked up. Privately, he wondered why she couldn't have waited until they had reached their destination- whereever it was. He wanted a hug from that woman bad.

So when it turned out to be a house, he turned to Talie, a question on his face. "Tal-ya?" he quried, wondering what the importance of this place was. Maybe they were here for a rest? Or maybe she had changed her mind and wanted to go home, now?

The same way he didn't want to go back to his home. Not yet. This was much more exciting than any video game.

Ligeia and Vorel watched as the other pair with them suddenly headed down towards the ground, his eyes scanned for what had prompted their decent and he gave a little scree sound, "Oh! Look, isn't that the girl?" He murmured to Vorel then gave him a little nudge which prompted his dragon to follow after Ymir. He wasn't quite as zealous as Keanu instead landing, hopping off his dragon's back, and moved to stan behind the other boy, he'd allow Keanu the 'hero's' role in this. Ligeia wasn't brave enough for that himself.

He would wait and see if he was needed to go off and get more help. His gaze moved to Talia, to look her over, to see if she looked ok. Next his eyes went to the other small child, he didn't know who that was and he wasn't considered 'missing' was he? Ligeia wasn't sure since he hadn't been mentioned when Ligeia was sent off to find Talia. He wondered if the one that had taken Talia had taken him as well?

Were he and Keanu safe here if this person as stealing lots of children? He found himself stepping a little closer to Keanu unconsciously, as if knowing that the catboy was the stronger of the two of them.

Vorel gave a little snort at his partner's action but didn't move, just watched.

Alan had caught the sight of the two dragons as soon as Alaqua had shouted it. His eyes widened some, watching them lower behind the buildings. His mind tried to run over what could possibly be there before he got his hopes up again... No, it should only be buildings.
"Turn here." He commanded, pointing at the next stop sign, momentarily forgetting that Niki wasn't one of his employees. "Go up two blocks, then make another right." Yes.. that should have done it.


Talia hardly glanced over at the two pre-teens as they landed, she was busy pouting at the locked door that prevented her entry to the house.

Mrs.Caverly however, did notice, and looked rather shocked.. if not scared by the sight. After a second of staring, the boy's voice snapped her out of it. She quickly moved foreward to grab Narayan and cover the gap between her and Talia, moving the two toddlers behind her defencivly. She hardly looked like she could put up much of a fight... But she also didn't look like she was going to give either child up without one. "Stay behind me." She ordered the two, before frowning at Keanu and Ligiea.

Help in his mission was welcome, however the reaction he got from the woman was not. Instead of simply handing over the children she herded the pair behind her in an almost protective gesture. Sadly, such a thing didn't really register as 'aww that's sweet of her' in his head, instead it was simple defiance. He obviously knew the young girl's name so he had a connection with her, thus he wasn't about to go hurt her. Besides, he was the good guy, the cliche hero. (Ok, not really, but that's what HE thought!) How could she have mixed that up.

Defiance really had made her his enemy, and Ymir was annoyed that things weren't going as simply as he'd hoped. To say the least neither of the pair was really pleased with the result they'd gotten so far, which meant trying something else.

"Give back Talia now, her father is worried about her." Was the deman called out as the boy started to advance forward. One last chance to do as she was being told before he was going to test just how harmless she really was. And even if the twelve year old's classes weren't enough. A dragon might just tip the scales in their favor. A grumpy dragon no less. "You kidnapped them so you certainly aren't going to be allowed to keep them!" Well maybe that was assuming too much, but in Keanu's mind she was the bad person, and she was going to go down. Because good ALWAYS triumphed. Or that's what he thought anyway.

Ymir gave a muffled growl as if to agree with the feline. He wasn't so sure about kidnap, but the fact was they couldn't leave without the blue-haired girl, thus this person was in the way.

"Give her back now, or it's not my fault if you get hurt." He might have been twelve and tired, but the fact remained he still had a sword and had been studying forms of self defense. He wasn't something to laugh at if he really wanted to try to hurt you. At least, not unless you where far better trained.

Niki didn't take any offense to Alan's sudden commanding, but quickly turned at the next street and, while speeding as much as she could with the traffic and keeping half an eye open for cops, made it down the next two block and turned right again, slowing enough for the turn to not sling her passengers about the vechile.

The jeep slowed as she searched for the place where the two preteens and their dragons had landed. It wasn't too hard to spot them and she came to a stop, quickly trying to unwork her seatbelt and take the key out and open the door just about all at the same time.

Keanu frowned slightly at the comment. He paused a moment giving the woman a quick look then back to Ligeia. "But she's not cooperating, she won't give them back. It's obvious she intended to kidnap them." He managed to keep his voice somewhat level as he spoke, watching the woman out of the corner of his eye. He wasn't going to let her run off with the kids. "We can't just do nothing..."

As the woman spoke it was likely a good thing she did it shortly before Alan arrived. Being on the evil list and telling the boy what to do as if he was a child(he was still trying to convince Raja he wasn't) didn't help. If anything it hit a nerve. Still, the arrival of the van did catch his attention... Well actually the person who was trying to jump out of it while it was moving... without much grace.

"Mr. Rikery..?" Was what he muttered in slight confusion, before turning to look and see that Talia was darting at him after he'd shouted her name. The woman hadn't tried to stop the child, which made things a little confusing. Well that was good, part of the mission accomplished. He turned his attention back to the woman still starring at the woman who had yet to be cleared of her 'crimes.' She was still the criminal as far as he was concerned. There was still th eother child, and what this woman was doing with Talia inthe first place.

Still he didn't get a chance to say anything before she muttered the bosses name. More confusion with that, why did she know Mr. Rikery? And he said her name as well? At least it could be assumed.

Well whatever anger had been directed at the woman was lost at the moment in the confusion, which left Keanu with only one solution. Lifting one hand to point toward the woman while glancing over his shoulder at the boss he asked what seemed most important to him. "So is she bad or not?"

As for Ymir, his job was done. Which meant a loud yawn and eyeing his partner. Couldn't they just head home, he'd had a long day. It didn't seem like the kids were in any real danger. Justice prevailed, all that nonsense. It was time to go get a good meal.

The appearance of the boss did a lot to relax Ligeia, especially when Talia ran over to him thusly freeing her from the woman's grasp, now about the other boy? The little elephant? The woman seemed distracted by Alan so Ligeia turned his attention to the little one, taking a couple steps towards him, "Hello there." He called, holding out a hand to him. He gave a smile and hoped that the boy would come over to them, away from the woman so that he to would be out of harms way. Then the adults could figure out the rest.

Vorel's head lowered a bit, eyes narrowing. While Ligeia might see everything as all well and good he decided to be on the defensive where as his partner was not. His tail started to lash and he watched, crouching down to pounce if the owl child needed protected.
