This guild seems nearly dead, but maybe i will get some response from this.
Being gay is not a sin. Having sex before marriage is not a sin. Having wanton sex with many women outside of marriage is not a sin. Having an abortion is not a sin.
Many of you disagree. I challenge you to show me wrong. I challenge you to show me biblical passages showing how i am wrong. I have responded in several topics in which i made each of these claims, yet i have had no response that disagreed with me. Nobody has even attempted to show me i am wrong.
Is it possible i am wrong, and each of these are truly sins? I suppose so. However, until they are shown to be sins, i must assume they are not. Indeed, until they are shown to be sins, you are the ones sinning, by saying they are. After all, using your own morals as God's morals is disgusting and sinful.
So feel free to show me i am wrong. Feel free to explain why sex outside of marriage is wrong. But if you cannot do so, do not say it is a sin.
(In regards to homosexuality, it would probably be best to leave that debate to the sticky in the D&D subforum. For now, it should suffice to say that there is a great deal of controversy on the topic, and none of the posters here are qualified to say their view is the "truth.")

and i challenge you to prove that WE'RE wrong....
either way these debates have been BEATEN....BEATEN to death time and time again. and even if we were to go to try to prove your wrong...there is ALWAYS an opposing side to such issues of homosexuality, premarital sex...etc...etc...and as Ame Kuro said, its all old.
you have your opinion...we have ours. lets leave it at that.

No, I'm positively sure there are parts in the old testament that tell of certain sin sdealing with "sexual relations." In terms of abortion, I still don't know. sweatdrop

There are many, many, many more passages in the Bible that prove what your saying is sin. But you have to choose to read it.
Something else to throw out:
Proverbs 12:1
1 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates discipline is stupid.
Simple and clear.

Let's see, I definately think that it's wrong to have wanton sex with many women outside of marriage, and I basically don't believe in abortion, but I've always been confused about the gay one...
My arguments is that using so many different women for pleasure shows that you see them as objects.
While I understand the drama of rape (in that case, I just pray for a solution to come up), you're still killing a baby.
And for gay people, the one that confuses me, since they have no choice but adultery since they can't get married, and since romantic love (if done right) can be a form of God's love, why doesn't that apply to gay couples?
(I'm going to talk to a pastor about this tomorrow)

There are many preconceived notions as to what is, and what is not a sin. Indeed, people teach many things as being immoral, under the guise of it being God's word. If these teachings are wrong, people are misrepresenting God. If they are wrong, people are using God to advance their own beliefs. False teachings and advancing oneself over God should not be tolerated. Even if it happens because of mistakes, i believe it is important for Christians to have set morals. I also believe they should be able to justify those morals.
