Who is going to teach Aang to Firebend? I want to hear who you will think ending up teaching him and why........a nice way to make gold biggrin

im expecting Iroh to teach him
i dont know why but he seems to me like he'll be the one to teach Aang firebending

Well, he HAS to learn it, at the least. xD I doubt he'll use it a lot, though.
I think it'll be Iroh that teaches him, but who knows, maybe they'll bring up some new character like they did with Toph.

My money is on Iroh.
Maaaaaaaaybe by the betrayer guy for some part of his training but in that case I still think Iroh will finish training Aang.

I think Iroh and Zuko will teach him......and maybe.......(just maybe) if the happily ever after counts for this....Aang and Zuko will be BEST friends XD

Methinks Iroh'll teach him, or they'll go back to Jeong Jeong, or possibly introdue a new character. Most of my money's on Iroh.
Whoever said Azula would teach him is on crack. O.o Why?! I must ask.....

I say Azula. Why? Well my old theory was dashed when Season 2 started and we got to see that "Oh.. Azula's pure evil. Sorry!"
So I'm working on my new theory.. haven't gotten around to it yet really.
However.. I believe the four benders in the opening are the masters who teach Aang.
Master Pakku
Earthbender from Ba Sing Se
Azula
Monk Gyasto (? We're assuming here)
Yes, I think Katara and Toph serve as guides to getting Aang started on his bending, but there is only so much each can do. They're self taught for the most part. Toph did have a teacher, but he kept her to the basics because of her blindness and taught herself. A master finished Aang's waterbending training for the most part. I believe this will be the same in Book 2. A master will finish Aang's and Toph's training, like Pakku finished Katara's training as well. Course I also think Toph will go bye bye at some point (not die).
So.. I'm not on crack (though I support the crack pairing Koh X Azula), I just really don't believe the obvious Zuko/Iroh teach Aang. I honestly believe it will Azula.. and quite possible indirectly. Like.. with Aang studying her moves and then mimicing them as they fight or something.

The earthbender in the intro is The Boulder.
There is no way he he is going to teach Aang.
And Toph is a master. She won the Earthbending Tournament.

it has to be Zuko cus if you think about it everyone who has taught Aang to bend the elements have been kids. sure iroh will have small part in teaching him like jeong jeong did, but it has to be a kid. toph is a kid. katara is a kid. why should learning firebending be any different. IT'S A FREAKIN PATTERN!!
