ok, well my best friend she has been having sex with her boyfriend for a good while. they don't use a condom but she is on THE PILL. But she has to go off the pill for a week every so often and she went and had sex with her boyfriend during that time. She thinks she might be pregnant because she was suppost to have her period like a week or two ago. She has had one pregnancy scare before -.- i know i had to take her to the clinic. it turned out she wasn't, it was just her paranoia giving her the symptoms. is it likely she is pregnant?
edit: I'm having sex with my boyfriend too. we use a condom but i'm not on the pill. and its been like 4 days since we did it last and I had a booster shot that day. and since then i've been feeling sick to the stomach and consantly tired. is it possible that i'm pregnant or is it just side effects from the booster shot? ((when me and him did it last he pulled himself out really quickly because his friends opened the door...i dunno if that helps at all...))

For your friend: She needs to take a pregnancy test, and then regardless of the results, go see her family doctor. If it turns out she's pregnant, he/she can help your friend with what to do next. If she's pregnant, she'll also need to tell her parents.
If she goes to the doctor and she's not pregnant, do her a favor and tell her to smarten up and to start using her head. Sex isn't for children. From the sound of it, if she's not already pregnant, she's going to get herself pregnant soon. She needs to talk to her doctor about taking her birth control PROPERLY, because she's not using it correctly. The Pill covers what to do when you take a break from it, and if she's taking breaks from her Pill, the effectiveness is probably decreasing, which means she could still end up pregnant. Get her to use condoms with her boyfriend, so she can cover her tracks as best she can.
For yourself, same thing: take a pregnancy test, and go see a doctor. Your side effects could be from your booster shot, but we can't tell you whether or not you're pregnant based on what you tell us. Do yourself a favor and go on a back-up method of birth control, because condoms will break and are not 100% effective. It's better to use 2 methods than just 1, because although you can still get pregnant with 2 methods, your chances of getting pregnant will go down if you use two.
