What type of wig? Longer ones tend to be more expensive. Shorter ones, not so much. I have a really nice shoulder length one that I got for about 30 at a con. You might be able to try a local wig store in your area and see what they have. Sometimes its a better deal, what with not having to pay shipping.

cutting it shouldn't be that hard. Try to find a wig shop in your area. Maybe they can help you style it as well

They may be a little cheaper for what you need, but still good quality. Really, it depends on which wig you pick. I'm not sure if they have what you need, but it never hurts to look. ^_^

Also, if you can find a good wig that is close to the style you want, you can dye it. Just get a plastic spray bottle and a Sharpie in the color you need. Destroy the sharpie, throw the ink stick in the bottle and add... I think rubbing alcohol. I've never done it. I think the alcohol is what makes it stick, but you may want to look it up if you end up doing that. I do know that it looks awesome when it's done. Just be careful about trying to put lighter colors on top of darker ones. It would probably work better the other way around.
