Kidnapping Innocence
Echo/Croanyl
Tracking for days on end, paws still carrying his weight, worn and torn the underside of his pads, from experiences and twists and turns along his path of life. Neverending journey of darkness and hate that had his mind and body wishing to dwell in the shadows of the night and day.
Finding this territory, going unknown into it as an intruder Croanyl had scouted the area, seen what wolves were close to who, to manipulate his plans into action.
Preparations had been made.
To create hi first distraction he needed the innocent one, young, naive perhaps, but newfound in love and those emotions Croanyl hated with a fiery passion. Love was pointless, true feeligns disguting unless they pertained to pain, sorrow and loss, death and demise. Yes, the darker of all feelings and emotions were the better ones.
This place smelled of salt water, in ran into his nose and could make him gag. Pine was the true smell of the forest, not this salty smell. The wind carried it everywhere, coated everything almost completely, least he could hide his scent...
Then he froze.
Taking a right instead of going left he caught her scent, by a stream perhaps? It smelle of fresh water a tiny bit, and she was alone. It couldn't be more perfect.His paws carried him lightly, not making a sound, as his white eyes focused on what lay before him, a prize like no other.

Echo was perhaps the happiest she had been in a long time, probably the first since she was a puppy. That night with Logan had been a night she would never forget.
So, sitting by the river, her tail swaying back and forth slightly behind her, she smiled and sighed happily. Glancing down, she saw her reflection, the scars littering her face and body. But it seemed that none of those mattered anymore. It was all in the past, and the past no longer meant anything with Logan. She and her twin were in this pack now, with others to look after them and help them when they needed it.
Sinking down to her belly, she stuck the tip of her nose into the cool water, making her fur stand up strangely. It amused her, though, as she was simply delighted by all that had been happening recently.
Giggling to herself, she rolled onto her side and flailed her paws a little. Feeling much like a puppy again, she then rolled back onto her paws and splashed into the river, her gray and brown fur growing wetter and wetter by the second. Her tail sweeped back and forth, splashing around water as she threw her head from side to side, snapping at the flying water.
She continued doing this for minutes, eventually stopping for a moment and jumping back onto the bank. Not even caring that her fur was wet, the small female flopped onto her side and giggled again.
Life was good.

He heard giggling...and it sickened him. Croanyl just wanted to gag right then, but he had something to do, something to accomplish. From the bushes he peaked out, watching her and her movements. Clumsy they were, but...interesting.
And he grinned.
Perhaps he could make this situation worse for the girl...how could he make her hate him. And be afraid forever, to be unsure of her nad her life. His tail flicked to the side, and he got the oerfect idea, but he'd have to do a bit more work...pity.
He knew of her sister, and her new 'love'...blech, someone kill him now...actually, no, not yet. He could threaten her, to do what he said...or he could hurt them...yes, that would work.
Shifitng himself he padded out from the bushes, his eyes watching her,
"Hello there..." he said in a bitterly sweet voice. Watching her he padded closer, almost as if trying to get as close as possible, without her running away or threatening his plan.
What if she howled?
Then it hit him, he grinned devilishly and leaned down to whisper to her, "If you howl out, or move, or try to run...I will kill them...do you understand?" he asked sweetly, it sickened him, but perhaps that statement would get his message across.
He just needed her total cooperation now...and she'd better give it to him...or it might have to be rougher then expected...

The moment that the male wolf showed himself, she jumped up to her paws and took the omega stance. This wolf smelled strange, as if he wasn't from these lands. So why was he here, trespassing like this? She didn't have much time to think, however, as Croanyl soon whispered in her ear about killing if she tried to do anything against him. Her mind and body simply froze with that. Who was this? One of her parents little minions? No... they would never do something like that.
"U-understand," she stammered, her legs shaking violently and threatening to give way under her body's small weight.
What was she going to do? She had heard of false threats before, but she wasn't able to tell the difference between them. To her, anyone who even thought of using a threat to keep her still and quiet was dangerous, being as she was not at all capable of defending herself. But she had to do something!
Whining to herself, she stumbled to the side, away from the new wolf. She really wanted Logan here with her...

Croanyl's eyes narrowed at her and she stumbled to the side and whined, he was getting angrier and more aggitated by the second if she wasn't going to cooperate. "Why don't you understand?! Do you want them to die? Your sister...and that orange oaf?"
He stepped towards her and snarled, such a nusense she was, couldn't even listen to commands in a life and death situaiton. He leapt forward at her nad rammed his forehead into hers. It didn't pahse him as much as it seemed to phase her. She fell with a thud...kocked out.
"Just peachy!" He sighed and contemplated, now that she was out cold, what to do? Ah yes...torture her? No...she wasn't awake to hear her whimper...hmmm, he could torture her in another way...yes, that'd be perfect.
Craning his neck down his latched onto the schruff of her neck and pulled her along slowly, to a hidden spot among brush where rocks were, unable to be seen by the naked eye. He took her there, and layed her down nad tilted his head, and grinned.
Yes, the perfect way of torture.

Afterwards Croanyl lay by her side and waited for her to wake up. She couldn't be out cold all day could she? Croanyl had so many things to do in this 24 hour span...

Echo awoke with a loud groan. She had a raging headache, and she wondered where on earth it had come from. Maybe she had had a bad dream and was only now waking up from it. It had all been a blur...
But then she glanced to the side and saw that wolf from her 'nightmare'. He was right next to her, and she wondered how she hadn't noticed him before that. Maybe it was her headache that had distracted her. Wanting to shake her head, but knowing that it would only make the pain worse, she simply lay there, whining to herself. Everything came back to her as she rested her head on her paws, ears folded back.
This wolf had knocked her out, she remembered. The last thing she had seen was him coming towards her and a sharp pain in her skull. He must have hit her hard.. either that or her skull was simply soft. That meant that he was serious when he said that he would hurt those who were close to her.
Quieting herself, she continued to just lay there, waiting for him to do whatever it was that he was going to do.

Croanyl turned his head to watch her open her eyes, she seemed disgruntled and in pain...good. He admired that, that she wasn't trying to hide that she was hurt in one way or another. She seemed like she'd cooperate now.
He stood up and stretched, and was going to step over her when teh wind blew and a scent caught his nose, tohers were coming this way, a male? Eyes narrowing, he knew it must be the orange oaf or someone else. It woudn't be too good to be caught with this wolfess here, in her condition.
Standing up straight he turned to ehr and lowered his gaze to meet hers, "Now I want you to stay here...here and nowhere else. If you move, I'll kill your sister...and your "new friend"..." Croanyl said referring to Logan. "If you leave this place...you won't see either of them again..."
With that he turned and left the place, to hopefully have her lay there and be miserable, "That is your use for now...other things..." he said turning to grin at her with a satanic look in his eye, "I've already taken care of while you were 'resting'..."
Then he disappeared into the brush, jsut to leave her there. He wondered if she'd stay or go, no matter, hopefully she'd stay, he still wanted to taste blood though.

Echo shuddered with the male's words, his voice alone making her fearful. Even though he had told her to stay, she had actually contemplated running away. But then she thought about the pain in her skull and what else he could possibly be capable of. And so she finally decided to lay there, hoping for the best. What else could be done?
Another shiver was sent down her spine as he talked about doing something to her while she was knocked out. What could he mean by that? Her naive mind couldn't pull anything up, but there was a little whisper in the back of her mind, a more mature and knowledgable voice that told her what he could have possibly done. She didn't know it consciously, but it was still there and it made her sick, literally.
She hacked right then and there, coughing up a bit of her breakfast. Whining, she stood up and moved only away from her barf, settling back down again opposite it but still in the same place in which he had placed her.
"Stay here," she mumbled to herself as she just lay there, broken and miserable.
