What's with the dinosaur symbols on the chests of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in all the coloring books, on the toys, and in the movie? The ZyuRangers didn't have those, and it's like Saban desparately wanted to convince people that the Power Rangers did, even though they didn't in the show.
I've been wondering about this since I was a little kid!

Methinks it's either a marketing ploy, or they must think that us 'little' kids were idiots, and not know who controls what Dinosaur confused
Not sure, but all I know is, I don't think us Japanese would put something.... THAT annoying on our Sentai folks.

Spooky Tanuki What's with the dinosaur symbols on the chests of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in all the coloring books, on the toys, and in the movie? The ZyuRangers didn't have those, and it's like Saban desparately wanted to convince people that the Power Rangers did, even though they didn't in the show.
I've been wondering about this since I was a little kid! I remember reading about this, the dino emblems on the MMPR toys and in the coloring books and comic books were becuase they were based on the original production sketches for the costumes. As for the movie, I have no clue.

Step 1: Make sentai into english by gutting it like prepared food
Step 2: Slap a lot of dynamic things like HYAHS and the symbols to lead attention away from the gutted feel
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit
Sabans business plan worked well for a while...
