(( Asayake (violet), Virika (italicized orange), Nishi (pink). ^.^ )) Having decided it would be good to get out of the den for a little while, Virika had headed off through the woods towards the open plains. She wasn't too interested in hunting, simply getting away from the crowded place for a little bit and perhaps seeing some interesting things. She hadn't really left the den since she'd been hatched, and it was high time for her to move on.Just to be safe, however, Asayake had tagged behind her younger den-sister. She still remembered when Virika was nothing but a tiny pup, and knew too well the dangers that existed outside the den. Virika was only half the size of a standard Lunar, afterall. Above Asayake's head, Nishi flitted to-and-for energetically. Like Virika, she thought it was good to stretch her wings.

"Zinnia? Zinnia?" It seemed impossible that a little cat had managed to make it all this way, but with this particular kitten there was no telling.
Apparently without warning, he stopped and cocked his head to listen. New...people...?
"Hello?" he called.

Nishi's fluttering halted to hovering the instant the other's voice broke the air. She cast a worried glance down to her sister before settling onto the larger Japanese's head. Lifting a wing, she began to preen a bit in her own anxiousness.
Asayake waited for her sister to get settled before she took off at a run after Virika, not wanting the young one to get into trouble with any new neighbors they might have. Especially since said neighbors weren't any voice she recognized and weren't expecting any trouble - unless they were looking for it.
Virika, hearing her den-sisters running up behind her shortly after the voice of the other, got it into her head that it was definitely worth investigating the call. With a joyful yip, the smaller Kyn let loose at a run in the direction that the call had come from.

Dav heard a little bit of a commotion and turned to face it--never having been in a fight before, he didn't really expect one now. He didn't expect the little Lunar kyn barraling towards him, either, but that was alright. Smiling just a little as to not show too many long teeth, the kyn dipped his head down low so he could get a good look.
"Hello littling," he rumbled.

She came to a screeching halt in the forest floor, small wings fluttering at her back. Virika blinked up at the larger Kyn in front of her, grinning across her muzzle without any hesitation in showing her fangs. "Hey!"
Asayake came up behind her den-sister, bowing her head politely in greeting to the stranger. "I'm sorry, my den-sister is a little rambunctious." Nishi peered at the new kyn from her perch on Asayake's head, wings fluttering slightly.

The brown kyn looked up at the new arrivals with a great deal of curiosity, attempting to return this gesture. He hadn't seen that many other kyns before, and the one he had met had been one like him. This new female was...different.
"Quite alright," Dav said after a moment. "It hiss good for hlittlings to haf curiosity. Hwhat is your name, young one?" he asked, looking down at the wolf-like creature. Unfortunately, the slight slurr had returned to his speech with his nervousness--he wasn't quite sure how to react around new company.

Virika tilted her nose down towards the ground, snickering almost incontrollably. Asayake moved forward, giving her younger den-sister a rather berating look.
"I'm afraid you'll have to excuse her - still - she isn't all that polite." Virika was, afterall, nothing like Kaaruni or Zareb. Those two Lunars were creatures of extreme dignity, and this one... just wasn't. Virika calmed herself in a few moments, though she didn't look back up at Dav.
Nishi sprang from her sister's head, fluttering a little closer to Dav with a smile on her face. "My name is Nishi," she bowed her head in mid-flight as she introduced herself, "And the hybrid is Virika. Asayake is my half-sister." She nodded towards each of the others in turn, her polite smile still on her small muzzle.

Completely unphased by the snickering, Dav inclined his head to the three of them. "It is a pleasure to meet you, ladies," he said, voice back to normal. "It's not often I see other kyns around here. It's quite a pleasant change." It took him a few seconds to remember that he was out here for a reason.
"Ah, I have actually come out looking for a younger sister," he said, "although significantly smaller." Breifly, he described the kitten and her erratic behavior.
"I know it's something of a long shot, but you wouldn't have happened to see her, would you?"

Waving her tail, the young Lunar listened to the description. "Sounds like lunch to me!" Asayake looked down her nose at her younger sister, shaking her head slightly.
"Virika, that's still rude. And, I'm sorry, but we haven't seen your sister." Asayake sighed, tail swaying slightly behind her. It had been a rather elongated walk, and she was getting a little tired. She was used to flying, afterall.
Nishi fluttered back a few paces, small wings pumping to keep her aloft. She was quiet for now, Asayake having answered the question.

((Sorry it took so long! I couldn't figure out what to post X.x))
Unbeknownst to her 'older brother,' the little kitten in question had made her zigzag, loopy way up to where the four had gathered. People! was really all she thought, and it didn't register at all in her somewhat befuddled mind that these weren't people, but more kyns like her much larger sibling. In her usual nonlinear pattern, she walked up to the largest of the three newcomers and bumped her head against the kyns leg, purring loudly.
Dav's keen ears picked up the erratic purring, immidiately recognizing it to be Zinnia's distinct sound. Remembering the, "sounds like lunch to me!" he got somewhat of a startled/worried expression and swiveled his head around, looking for her.
"Zinnia?" he called incredulously.

Asayake, feeling something odd against her leg, craned her head backwards to take a look. A smile crosses the kyn's face, and she reaches out with one of her front clawed hands in an attempt to scoop up the cat. "I do believe I've found what you're looking for, Davexander." She twisted her neck around to look at him, chuckling slightly.
Curious, Virika tries to edge around and through Asayake's legs to get a peek at the little fuzzball. Her intentions aren't, however, to harm the tiny creature. Nishi, unlike her sister, remains hovering where she was and waits her turn to see what the European had lost.

Since it was such a large leg, it took Zinnia a minute to twine around it. She was easily distracted, however, by the other creature who had leaned down to examine her. Seeing an opportunity for attention, she looped and spiraled that direction and repeated the process of bumping and purring.
Dav rumbled out a low chuckle as he put his head back down to where the little kitten was begging for attention.
"There you are, little one," he said with a smile. It stayed in place as he looked up at Virika and Ayasake. "I very much appreciate your helping me find her." The laughter was still in his voice.

Surprised and rather unused to the concept of something small and fuzzy that wasn't dinner coming straight at her, Virika backed up with her tail lashing a bit behind her, blinking at the feline. She certainly didn't have sense of shame, at least not when faced with a terrifying little chunk of 'dinner'. Asayake grinned and chuckled herself, nodding towards Dav as she tried to not laugh directly at her den-sister.
"It would seem as if she found us."

"Mrow?" Zinnia was also confused, although it was as to why this Attention Giver was backing away from her instead of...well, giving her attention. So she renewed her efforts, purring, and spiraling her way towards him.
Dav, worried that one or the other would never be the same if she continued her 'advances,' reached forward with a great paw and plucked her off the ground, settling her on his back where she could zigzag and spiral for quite a while without falling off.
"Pardon me, Virika," he said as he did so, not wanting to startle the little kyn.
The kitten, not happy just sitting on his back, clambered up his neck (or down, since he was still looking at Virika) and settled between his horns on his broad, flat head, purring.

A polite cough shook the trees and an enormous head slid into sight. Each tooth in this enormous European's mouth was gleaming, sharp, and about the size of Nishi, maybe a little bigger. He smiled down, recognizing only her and relaxing noticeably. "Nishi," murmured Lorne. "It's good to see you, little dragon..."
