He had spoken with inferiors and with other members of the Pride who seemed to take a different view on Finar-si than himself and the cogs in his brain had begun to turn.
If he wanted to rule wisely he had to listen to everyone and make choices that would change things for the better. He had the future of his Pride to think about and it was the one job he knew he could and had to do well. He wanted to make his father proud of him, wanted to show everyone that he was capable, that he didn't have to lead them like a tyrant but rather the opposite.
Calm, controlled, intelligent.
He rolled onto his belly from where he lay in the entrance of the cave, taking the time to ponder on the location of his family. Mother was hardly ever around and neither were most of his siblings. In fact he didn't remember the last time he had truly spoken to them.
Life as a Prince was a lonely one.

It had been about a day since the meeting with Mrost but Koka's attitude could not be anymore gleeful. The thought that her plans to take over this pride were in the works was enough to make her feel as if she were floating like a cloud. Ah it was good to know something that no one else did.
The tiny lioness crept up and over the last dune to reach the hard packed earth of the pridal den area. The sun was scorching that day and the cool of the den would be a welcomed relief. Her black coat, as gorgeous as it was, created much of a problem for it attracted the suns rays. It made Koka a bit uncomfortable to be out and about at the hotest points of the day, but her discomfort was lost when she caught sight of her eldest brother laying just outside the den.
"Well, well if it isn't the heir himself. How are you doing Ondo?" She smiled almost too pleasantly as she strutted over him.

"Good day sister, I am quite content as usual. You should know that nothing much bothers me." His ears twitched towards her as she drew closer.
He had never had a strong bond with Koka but he liked to keep the peace no matter hom much tension underlay their relationship. He knew that the younger daughter was much different from himself but for now he would set that aside. He was too hot to cause trouble and there were other things ailing his mind today which was something he was not used to.
"And if I may ask, what brings that joyous tone to your voice this day?" He wasn't extremely curious but he thought it only polite to ask.
Polite banter was expected of one such as himself.

Koka rollede her eyes. "You're always the same, never changing." What a King you'll be. No matter, you won't be holding that reign for long anyway. The pride will need someone stronger than yourself to lead them. Afterall, the pride can't loose it's reputation.
"As for what makes me so happy, I don't think that's much of your business, brother." She walked over to him but settled herself into a small shadow that the den was creating not a far ways off from the emotionless heir. "All I will say is that I had my eyes open thanks to a lovely conversation." The tip of her tail twitched gently in pleasure as she crossed her front paws and layed her head upon them. Those violet eyes never left her brother but they glazed over as Koka began seeing something that was not occuring at that given moment. Instead, she saw a much older Ona and he appeared to be running from something. He ran as far and as hard as he could before leaving the desert. It was impossible to read his emotions for her seer abilities hadn't blossomed to their full potential yet but Koka was certain that who she saw was definitly Ona.
Koka jolted from her vision slightly before a playful smirk spread across her maw as she settled herself down again. If what she was was real than dear Ona would leave the desert in the future. -That- would be when Koka took over the pride.
"Oh yes, something very wonderful has begun." She murmered softly enough so that her brother could not hear.

"Oh I change sister, or rather, my thoughts do." He repositioned himself, eyes following her as she moved to settle herself in the shade.
"Well no it isn't my business, I just thought I'd take some interest in the life my sister leads when she is away from the den." He fell silent then, listening and thinking quietly to himself. "That must have been quite a conversation. In fact I have had one similiar, a conversation that has added yet more questions to the ever growing pile. Life does have a strange way of throwing unexpected events in ones face."
At his sister's last phrase a frown settled gently upon his reflection. "Why do I feel like that wonderful somethign for you is not necessarily wonderful for me?" He stretched out his forelegs. "I know not of what you spoke about sister, but just make sure it's nothing that would anger father."
