Hey, I'm in High School right now and I wanted to know how to find other GLB people because I myself am Lesbian and am very lonely at the moment. Basically I would really like a relationship but I don't want to ask a straight person by accident.

Does your school have a GSA? That's a great way to meet people, and if you don't try and start one. Or just ask your friends if they know anyone who has come out.

I haven't come out to anyone of my friends. . . Not that I'm going to tell them anytime soon . . . They're sorta against gays. ;-;

I didn't even start questioning my sexuality till I was in college, so I really can't help you out too much, but you may want to look for a local GLBT organization (start with a local Unitarian Universalist church) to make frineds and have support with coming out. When you begin your college search, make sure it has a GLBT group on campus and even try to contact them to see what type of group they are (social, lazy, sex-fest, activist, etc).

Eh sweatdrop I came out to a good friend of mine when I was 16. It was ok cuz he came out to me too! O well, I guess that things like that don't happen very often sweatdrop

I have come out to my friends and I think yesterday my class figured it out when I made the point that the foster parent thing is Texas.. I shouldn't have said it. sweatdrop

Thanks, Actually I've come out to all my friends (more than half are Bi) but I don't want to mess up friendships...so yah I guess I'll look for a group because I'd really like to find someone to go out with without ruining a solid friendship.

I came out, and two of my friends (one of which is my crush) came out about being bi as well! Umm... techniclly speaking I'm not exactly in a relationship... but my crush and I hug and snuggle a lot... we WOULD be dating if her parents wern't such homophobes/biphobes.(luckily they don't know that my crush or I are bi.) xp Just to fill ya in, I'm 15. ninja And as far as finding somone, check around to see if there are any GSA's or GBLT groups in your school or anywhere in your town/region.

I'd almost be interest in exploring myself at my local GLBT group, but frankley, they're all emotionally disturbed, from what I saw.
To put it nicer, my sexuality is something that confuses me and is a sensative area. I'd rather explore it with people who can at least handle themselves emotionally, which these people couldn't.

yea I run into the same problem. It is so hard for me to find GLB ppl around here, yet I heard people tell me about them all the time confused
I know my college has an GSA, but I haven't checked that out or anything. But I really should.
