I play flute, and I was curious if any of you have ever checked out the music of Jethro Tull or Nestor Torres? Both are awesome improvisors. Jethro Tull is more of the rocker flute, and Nestor Torres is in the Latin Jazz genre. You should check them out!! A couple of coolio songs from them are...
Jethro Tull - Bouree, Bungle in the Jungle (warning: he sings weird)
Nestor Torres - Young Mother, Cafe Cubano, and pretty much anything is great...
Check it out and let me know what ya guys think!!

The guy from Jethro Tull's name is Ian Anderson, and yes-- he is awsome. My favorite song is Locomotive Breath. His solo in there is awsome!

Ian Anderson = love!!!!!! I went to a concert of his a couple of years ago. And since he couldn't, his wife signed the poster! *Specialness* But yeah, I listen to some Jethro Tull. Mostly I listen to "Divinities" though, it's Ian Anderson's solo flute album. I reeeally suggest it, it's great.

I'm seeing Ian Anderson live in September. He's playing the orchestral Jethro Tull with the portland symphony orchestra.
